Yes, if you preclear in YVR you don't have to go through immigration in IAH. It will be handled just like any domestic flight and could arrive into C or E (for example today's YVR-IAH flight arrived at C-35). Also since that flight leaves so early it is less likely to be delayed. Today it left 1 minute late and arrived 23 minutes early.

I suppose you could walk From TB to TE, however, it's easier to take the above-ground TerminaLink train, connecting TB with TC, & TD/TE inside security. As you get off the train at TD/TE, you find the ticketing area to the right; if you arrive by car or taxi at either of the two entrance doors, you see the ticket counters in front of you. This area also has an escalator to Level 1, International Arrivals, which has in the lobby a passenger greeting area. Once you get through security check on either side, you can proceed to the gate area.

I was going to take the terminal link between B and D but when i actually get to D there isnt many things to do so is the walk between D and E feasible or should i just suck it up and stay at D

The YEG-IAH redeye arrives into terminal E to clear customs. You have plenty of time, it should be pretty empty at that time (only other international flights that early are a few from South America).

And yes, any time you go through US immigration you have to go through security again.

You will arrive in Terminal E. You will depart from Terminal C or E. 1 hour 10 mins is possible if there are no delays. If you miss your connection to SFO there are several later flights that you will be able to be re-booked on.

Try contacting Brighton company directly and tell them the whole story. They may be able to resolve the issue with a replacement.

I am sorry that you feel that our staff refused to help you in your quest. Our shop is well known for excellent, friendly customer service, a recognition of which we take great pride. When you were in the shop, they asked if you had a receipt for the purchase of your handbag, as all stores now require proof of purchase to replace such an expensive item. You told them that you did not have the receipt, at which time they informed you that without the receipt there was no proof of when you bought the bag and they could not exchange it for another one in the shop. At the time of your visit you were also informed that it is a Brighton Collectibles policy and that if there is a problem, handbags are covered by a 2 year warranty wherein they will repair or replace the bag for any issues with quality or workmanship. I hope that you are able to locate your receipt so that you can send your bag in to Brighton for repair within their warranty specifications.

Both of your flights will probably be in Terminal B so it shouldn't be that difficult of a connection.

You will pre-clear US Immigration in Calgary. You will not have to collect your baggage until you get to Cancun.

You will pre-clear US Immigration in Montreal. You will just have to get to your gate (likely a connection from Terminal C to Terminal E). You do not have to claim any luggage or go through security again in Houston, just take the Terminalink train between terminals if necessary.

You likely will both arrive and depart from Terminal B as both of those markets are served by United Express from IAH. As such your connection will be an easy one.

That should be plenty of time.

You won't know the exact gates until the day of your flight but they will be in Terminal C or E which are walkable. You will not have to go through security again in IAH on your way down.

That should be enough time, it's not a difficult connection.

She can take the Terminalink (inside security) or Intra-Terminal Train (outside security). She has enough time, but only barely.
