Connecting flightJan 8, 201310I am flying with United Airlines to IAH from Heathrow arriving in terminal E and then leaving for Pensacola from terminal B (also United Airlines), I only have 1 hr and 35 minutes to get my connecting flight. Is this enough time - can you advise how long it will take and what process I will have to go through. Many thanksDMposted on Tue, Jan 8[ Reply ][ Like ]At IAH, as an international arrival at Terminal E, you need to head to the International Arrivals building (follow signs), go through customs clearance & take the escalator down to Baggage Claim Level 1. After customs clearance and re-checking-in bags, go straight out to the International Arrivals Lobby which has an escalator down to the Inter-Terminal Train taking you to your connecting Terminal B. You need at least 35-50 mins for Customs check, and another 20 mins or so to get to Terminal B, go through security check and on to your gate: TB's gateway leads to a rotunda with surrounding gates B60-88.tujan13posted on Tue, Jan 8

British Airways to UnitedDec 22, 201260My daughter arrives this evening at IAH on British Airways. After going thru immigration and customs and getting her bags, where can she check in at Untied and how does she get to terminal B. She has 2 hours.Balletmomposted on Sat, Dec 22she will take the terminallink train from concourse C to B. it won't take longsapo1495posted on Sat, Dec 22Can she re check her bags at the international terminal? Or will she have to take them with her to B? She is switching to UnitedBalletmomposted on Sat, Dec 221. British Airways is in Terminal D of IAH; United uses Terminals A, C & E. 2. If British does not transfer bags to United (check) she needs to take her bags after customs clearance to the Terminal where her United flight departs from and check it in at the Departures level with United. Her boarding pass should indicate terminal and/or gate: TA has gates 1-30; TB has Gates B60-88; TC has gates C29-45; TE has gates E1-24. 3. International arrivals go through customs & take the escalator down to Baggage Claim Level 1. From there they go through Exit Control and enter to the right the baggage recheck area, and straight out arrive at the International Arrivals Lobby; there take escalator down to the Inter-Terminal Train to TA, TB, TC & the tunnel to TD. At connecting terminal she will have to go through passport control before proceeding to her gates.sadec12posted on Sat, Dec 22Thank you. BA did not tag her bags home but you think they might transfer them after she reclaims them? If not can she get a baggage cart on the train? The flight lists her arrival at terminal E but from the map it does not look like a huge difference.balletmomposted on Sat, Dec 22Both Terminals E & D have separate customs clearances. She will need to take her bag down to the inter=-terminal train, which does NOT allow carts - but I assure you she will manage just fine, on arrival she needs to head straight for the departures level and the United counter, checking in her bag. She has plenty of time!frdec12posted on Sat, Dec 22

Get from E to ADec 20, 201220Wife and daughter arrive UA1129 12:54 gate E-11, depart AA1300 2:00 A-27. How do they get to Terminal A? thank you.EricMRposted on Thu, Dec 20I presume they arrive at IAH from an international flight - if so, they need to proceed to the International Arrivals Building (follow signs) and go through customs & take the escalator down to Baggage Claim Level 1. From there they go through Exit Control and enter to the right the baggage recheck area which has an escalator down to the Inter-Terminal Train to Terminals A, B & C. HOWEVER, if UA does not transfer bags to AA flight (find out) - they would have to take their bag, after customs clearance, to Terminal A and check them in with AA at their counter, before proceeding to their gate. In both instances, they need to go through security check first. They should be able to make it on time.thdec12posted on Thu, Dec 20

Get from B to C?Dec 20, 201210My son is trying to connect quickly to catch a flight from B terminal to C terminal at IAH? How do you do this the fastest way?jjmahafposted on Wed, Dec 19On arrival at IAH at Terminal B, your son should look for the above-ground TerminaLink train sign and board the train to Terminal C. The train runs continuously between the terminals inside security. Terminal C has 3 gateways for gates C29 to C33, gates C34 to C42, and gates C43 to C45. (the overhead screens on arrival will indicate flight number & gate.thdec12posted on Thu, Dec 20

Connection time International FlightsJan 19, 201321Is 1 hour-10 minutes enough if arriving AIR CANADA EXPRESS - JAZZ –from Toronto Flight 8540 - Operated by United Airlines Landing: 7:08 PM, Fri, Mar 1 Connect United Airlines - Flight 1426 - 1 h 6 m Take-off: 8:20 PM, Fri, Mar to Merida, Mexico (MID)JoAshposted on Tue, Dec 18Make sure you go through US Customs clearance at Pierson Airport - thereafter you will be considered to be a domestic arrival at IAH. Air Canada uses Terminal A, United uses Terminals A, B & C, all with corresponding gates. Your bags will be automatically transferred, so all you need to do on arrival is to check the overhead screens for your departing flight number & gate and take the above-ground TerminaLink train (follow signs) running inside the secured areas of the terminals. You have sufficient time.wedec12posted on Wed, Dec 191 person likes this post [ Like ]

45 minute international connectionDec 17, 201210I"m flying into IAH on 12/18 on flight #UA4391X with a 45 minute connection to London Heathrow flight #UA34. Can you tell me what terminal I will arrive and which one I will depart from? And how to get from one to the other?lcposted on Mon, Dec 17United uses Terminals A, B & C (with corresponding gates - your ticket and the overhead screens on arrival will indicate flight number & departure gate. Connection from Terminal C to Terminal BDec 14, 201212My wife and our 2 year old daughter will have 45 minutes to connect from arriving flight in Terminal C to departing flight in Terminal B. Will they have enough time and how do they go?Boiseposted on Thu, Dec 131 person likes this post [ Like ]At IAH, the above-ground TerminaLink train starts its service at the Terminal A station and connects Terminals A, B, C, D/E inside security. Note: TB has gates B68-75, B60-66; and the TerminaLink train station is near gateway to gates B76-83A and gateway to gates B84-88. 45 mins is tight, but she should be able to make it if she will be the first one out of the plane.frdec12posted on Fri, Dec 141 person likes this post [ Like ]

going to VancouverDec 12, 201210I will be flying in to Houston from Lima, Peru on Saturday Dec 15th at 6:15am and leave for Vancouver ( YVR) at 5:50PM on flight 1700 with United airlines. Any idea which gate I will likely be leaving from? I'm trying to book with an airport lounge and want to book one near my departure gate! Thanks for any help! And tips on great airport lounges with showers would be helpful!DPposted on Tue, Dec 111. At IAH United uses Terminals A, B, C & E. 2. If your incoming flight is not by United, you would need to find out if this airline will transfer your bags to your connecting United flight - if not, you would need, after customs, take your bag along to your connecting terminal and check it in there. 3. The International Arrivals building can be accessed from both Terminal E & C, with separate US Customs. Arriving passengers go through customs & take the escalator down to Baggage Claim Level 1. From there they go through Exit Control and enter to the right the baggage recheck area, and straight out arrive at the International Arrivals Lobby, which has an escalator down to the Inter-Terminal Train taking you to your connecting terminal. There seems to be no VIP /airline lounge listing at IAH site; however, you may want to go to the United site and find for such information.wedec12posted on Wed, Dec 12
