What terminal(s) does Copa Air use for domestic arrivals and international departures. Do we go through immigration for connecting flight departure to Colombia? Is there a lounge with one time pass?
Copa does not fly domestic flights. Copa in fact does not fly to Houston. Both of your flights will be on United. All you have to do is go from your arrival gate to your departure gate in Houston. Yes, you can buy a one-time pass for the United Club.
We are flying into IAH on AirNZ arriving 12.40. We want to catch a flight to Mexico City on UA (departing 15.44) or Interjet (departing 16.50). Which do you recommend for a safe connection time? Would obviously prefer to take the earlier flight if possible.
I am trying to get tickets from MSY to IAH (on UA) to connect to a flight to AKL (on NZ) that leaves at 10.15pm. The latest one I can get in arrives at 8.37pm - will I be able to make that connection considering that I have to pick up bags and check them back in? They will be on separate tickets, I will have checked luggage and I am *G (if that helps me in any way).
Otherwise the next one arrives at 6.15pm, plenty of time to connect - any point in hopping out of the terminal rather than sitting in a United Club?
Thanks in advance!
The 8:37 arrival works if you get your bags checked through to Auckland. If you show your ANZ confirmation to the United Agent in New Orleans they should be able to do that for you (but there's no guarantee).
Flight from Guadalajara arriving at 8:50 am connecting to a flight departing at 10:15 am to Chicago. Will that be enough time to clear out customs? Will I have to recheck my baggage again? Is the airport (lines) too saturated by that time?
Yes, you will have to go through US Immigration, claim your bags, go through US Customs, re-check your bags at the re-check desk, go through security and to your departure gate. I recommend at least 2 hours.
Hello, Travelling from Belize through Houston and connecting to Denver with 1 hour and 20 minutes between flights. We are Nexus/GOES card holders. Would this be enough time to make the Denver flight? Or at least possible?
With Global Entry it's possible if you don't have checked bags. Note that if you only have Nexus and not Global Entry then you can't use the expedited line coming from Belize.
Flight from Santiago scheduled to arrive at IAH 5:50 AM on a Friday. Then have connecting domestic flight to ORD with a 7:10 AM departure. Is this enough time? Will lines be shorter because it is early in the morning?
Yes, that is enough time if everything goes smoothly. Lines should be relatively short, but some flights from Brazil also arrive near that time.
