Flying From San Antonio to Houston to Toronto. 40 min connection in Houston. Is this enough time??
Yes, that is enough time if the first flight is on-time but leaves no time to spare if it's not.
Hello, 8 arrive in Houston at 9:38 and I leave for Pittsburg at 10:18. Is this possible?
Yes, if the first flight is on-time that is possible.
Hi,

I'm flying ORD(Chicago, IL) -> IAH(Houston, TX) -> BJX(Leon, Mexico)

Is a 90 minute layover in IAH enough? What terminal will I have to go through?
Yes, that is enough time. You will arrive in Terminal C and depart from Terminal B or C. The skyway train connects all terminals inside security. All you have to do is go from your arrival gate to your departure gate.
Hi I'm flying from Mexico to San Jose, costa rica with a connection in IAH and have a 90 mins connection time. Both flight are United(ua 1085 then ua 1098), do I have to go through custom or change terminal? is 90 mins enough? Thank you so much for your help!
Yes, you have to go through US Immigration, customs and security. You will both arrive and depart from Terminal E. You have just enough time if everything goes smoothly.
I am flying from McAllen to Houston. Then from Houston to Toronto. My concern is regarding the terminals. What terminal do I arrive in from McAllen? And what terminal do I leave from for Toronto? I have 1 hour 16 minutes to connect.
You will arrive in Terminal A or B. You will depart from Terminal A if your flight to Toronto is on Air Canada and depart from Terminal B or C if it is on United. The Skyway train connects all terminals inside security. You have enough time.
I arrive at Terminal D from Tokyo and will have to go through Passport Control (I have a Global Entry Card) and Customs and get to Terminal D to leave for Albuquerque. I have checked luggage. I have 90 minutes between flights. Will I have to go through Security? Can I make my connection?
No flights to Albuquerque depart from Terminal D. If both flights are on United you will arrive in Terminal E and depart from Terminal B or C. Yes, you will have to go through US Immigration, claim your bags, go through US Customs, re-check your bags at the re-check desk, go through security and to your departure gate. You have just enough time if everything goes smoothly.
I am looking at flights from Denver to Grand Cayman via Houston. Both legs are on United and Kayak is suggesting catching a flight from Denver that arrives in Houston at 11:50am, with the next leg from Houston to Grand Cayman at 12:50pm. We would have check-in luggage. Is that long enough time and do you have to re-check in luggage or go through immigration and customs?
There is no US Immigration or Customs when leaving the US. All you have to do on your way to Grand Cayman is go from your arrival gate to your departure gate. You have enough time.
Excellent - that sounds good. Thanks for the prompt reply.
Hi, I am arriving from the Netherlands (AMS) on UA0021 at 1:55pm and connect to UA1020 at 3:52pm to Cancun.
Will I need to re-check my bags and if so, are these 2 hours enough to clear customs, re-check etc?
EU Citizen, by the way!
You won't have to claim and re-check your bags since you're on an International to International connection all on United. You will have to go through US Immigration and Security though. You have enough time if everything goes smoothly.
Thank you! I did hear I will still have to go pick it up and put it on a different conveyor belt before or after customs, is that correct?
Hi there, my fiancé and I are going to Cancun for our honeymoon in June, with a layover in Houston on the way there and back (coming from Seattle). We are not concerned with the flight to Cancun, but coming home we are nervous about our short layover while going through customs and checking bags. We are flying on United Airlines, and our flight arrives at Houston at 4:15PM at terminal E. Our connecting flight then leaves at 5:35PM (also United) from Terminal C, giving us a 1 hr 20 min layover. Will this be enough time to pick up baggage, clear customs, and re-check bags? We booked through Expedia and I am worried it will be a hassle to change one flight..
Yes, that is below the minimum International to Domestic connection time in Houston. However a schedule change prior to June is likely anyway, so I would hold off on trying to fix anything for now. If United files a schedule change that allows you to change your flights for free. I would want at least 2 hours. You may also want to look at connecting through a different United hub such as Denver.
Thanks for the quick reply! When you say below the minimum connection time, does that mean what is allowed? Or just what is recommended?
As far as I know 90 minutes is the legal minimum, Expedia shouldn't have allowed you to book this.
What is the fastest way to get from Terminal B to Terminal C at IAH with only 50 minutes between flights
my flight is today by the way :)
I land today at 1:36 at Terminal B and my connection is at Terminal C. How long will it take me to get to Terminal C? Is catching the Skyway Shuttle difficult? Thank you!
The Skyway train connects all terminals inside security. It shouldn't take more than 10-15 minutes.
