I arrive at IAH on 12/10 Saturday 8:35 pm and then have to catch a flight to Santiago, Chile at 9:35. 1 hour layover, will I make it in time? And which terminals will I be going to/from?
Yes, that should be enough time if the first flight is on-time. You will arrive in Terminal C or E and depart from Terminal E if both flights are on United. All you have to do is walk from your arrival gate to your departure gate.
I have a similar conenction will the fact that its international cause me to go through additonal security/screening compared to a domestic flight
No, there is no special security or screening for International flights.
I will arrive in Houston on a united flight, then I need to change airline to Emirates, do I need to get out the terminal and enter again? or inside the terminal I can check in on Emirates desk?
Yes, you will have to exit the secure area, claim your bags, go to the Emirates check-in desk in Terminal D, re-check your bags, go through security and to your departure gate.
Hi, I'm flying in from New Zealand on the 22 Dec landing at 1:45pm. Then catching the 4:15pm to NYC. Is this enough time to clear immirgation, get luggage, clear customs and travel inter-terminal? I'm getting info that says check-in for NYC closes at 2:15pm - is that right for a 4:15pm flight to NYC?
Yes, that is enough time if both flights are on the same reservation. That check-in cutoff is incorrect and you will be checked in for both flights in New Zealand if they are both on the same reservation.
Many thanks, appreciate it
Hello I am leaving from Queretaro México to Huston ( UA6164) and then Huston to LAX (UA1121) i am a US citizen. do you know what terminal i have to go through and If i have to re check my bags or where to pick them up? (First time alone and second flight in my life) and is this enough time ? I have a two hour layover
You will arrive in Terminal D, go through US Immigration, claim your bags, go through US Customs, re-check your bags at the re-check desk, go through security and to your departure gate, likely in Terminal C. You have just enough time if everything goes smoothly.
Hi,I'm traveling from Cayman Islands to Houston and to Las Vegas. I have 1hr 54mins time. So you think that is too close or will be able to get there? With 2 check in bags.
It's possible if everything goes smoothly, it doesn't leave much room for error though.
Hi, I'm flying UA from DEN --> IAH --> Monterrey, MX (MTY).
Outbound, I arrive at IAH at 11:09pm with next day flight to MTY at 7:25a. How early should I get to IAH in order to clear security?(possibly PreCheck, I didn't book it and am not sure if KnownTraveler# will carry through, I have no status on UA)
On Return flight, I am very nervous. Arrive at IAH at 7:30a, connection to DEN at 9:00a. Is there any hope or should I push for rebooking?
Thanks so much. I'll share my experiences when (if) I return.
I would get to the airport at about 5:45 AM. On the return you should be fine if you have Global Entry. It will be close if you don't.
Thanks ZAP. I do have Global Entry, so I'll keep things as they are.

One other question. In your opinion, is the Centurion Lounge nice enough that I should try to be through security in the morning with enough time to check it out?
US citizen arriving at IAH from Buenos Aires on United, connecting on to OKC, also on United. Can I make this in 2 hr 5 min? Or do I need to take next flight to OKC, allowing for 3 hr 50 min layover. Thank you
Personally, I'd book the 3 hr 50 minute, but the 2 hr 5 min is not impossible.
Thank you! I agree - a little breathing room is best!
Hi I am arriving into Houston from New Zealand on 4th Dec at 1.45pm and connecting to Columbus via UA. Flight leaves for Columbus at 3.50 same day. Please could you advise if i will have enough time to make it.
Many thanks and appreciation
Yes, that should be enough time if everything goes smoothly.
Hi, I'm flying Delta from LGA to IAH and then Spirit from IAH to SJD (Cabo). I have 81 minutes in between. I assume this is fine, considering it's same terminal so I just go from arrival gate to departure gate (no customs or immgration as I'm leaving US)? Even if I have to leave and re-enter through security, I feel like I definitely have more than enough time?

I'm more worried about the trip back... SJD to IAH on Spirit, then IAH to LGA on Delta. I have 90 minutes in between. Is this enough to clear immigration and customs in terminal D or E, travel to terminal A, go through security and make the second flight? I have global entry and TSA pre check. However, my companion with same itinerary does not...

Any thoughts would be helpful!
I agree that it should be enough on the way there but is borderline impossible on the way back.
Do you think we should cancel and book different flights?
Well, Spirit flights aren't changeable. I guess I would just try it and if you miss it, you'll just have to pay the same day change fee with Delta. It would be cheaper than paying $200 per person now in change fees.
Hi - I'm traveling from DEN to IAH and then on to the Cayman Islands. I only have 70 minutes between connections at IAH. Do I have to go through customs at IAH and do I have enough time? Thanks.
Yes, that is enough time. There is no US Customs when leaving the US. All you have to do is go from your arrival gate to your departure gate. You have enough time.
