A group of us (with children) are traveling from O'Hare to Houston to Leon MX. United is saying we have 37 Minutes to get from Houston's Terminal C to Terminal B. Will this be enough time? Do we have to worry about the checked bags? Would we have to go through customs? Thanks
There is no US Customs when leaving the US. You just have to go from your arrival gate in C to your departure gate in B via the Skyway train. You have enough time if the flight from Chicago is on-time but none to spare if it's not.
I have 45 minutes to make my connection from my arrival in Termal C to my departure in Terminal B. All flights are United. Will I have enough time and is the Skyway my fastest route between terminals? Will I need to go through security again?
PVR flights almost always leave from Terminal E. You can walk from C to E. You do not have to go through security whether you walk or take the Skyway.
How long is the walk from Terminal C to Terminal E as we have a connection time of 35 minutes and have 2 young children (9 and 11)
Hi there, we're traveling from Toronto to Quito, Ecuador with a one hour layover in IAH on January 4, is this enough time to transfer terminal?
Yes, that should be enough time if your flight from Toronto is on-time. You will pre-clear US Immigration and Customs in Toronto so all you have to do in Houston is go from your arrival gate to your departure gate.
Transiting at IAH on 29th of December. Flying in from Munich with flight operated by United Airlines which will arrive at 14:20. Our flight which is with United Airlines as well leaves at 15:52 from Terminal E. That leaves 1 hour and 32 minutes for transit: is that enough or should I start looking for alternative flights? Is there any way for me to speed up the process before or when at IAH? We have luggage.is that is of any relevance. Thank you very much and Happy Holidays!
If you don't have checked bags that speeds things up and makes the connection possible. With checked bags it sort of depends on your flight from Munich getting in a little early. I doubt you'll be able to find an alternative flight just 6 days from departure though during the holidays.
It's my understanding that when flying with United Airlines from international to international flight that it's not necessary to pick up the bags and recheck them. In that case it shouldn't have an impact on the transfer time. Could you please confirm this?`
Hi, I'm flying into Houston from London and then on to Liberia, Costa Rica. Both flights are United and I have a 2 hour Layover, will I need to clear immigration and go back through security etc? Will this be enough time? Can you also tell me is this enough time and what terminals i'll be going to?
Yes, you will have to go through US Immigration, Customs and Security but should not have to claim your bags since you are on an international to international connection through Houston on United. You should have enough time. Both flights will be in Terminal E.
I'm on the same sequence: LHR - IAH - LIR (all on united) as a EU citizen (with valid ESTA). there is no doubt I need to pass immigration. but do I need to collect luggage and drop it on another belt? or even go through customs with it?
I will be taking United Airline From Tokyo (NRT) to Houston (IAH) then from Houston (IAH) to Toronto (YYZ) by United Airline operated by Mesa Airlines dba United Express. Will I need to go through US Immigration, Customs, and Security, then claim and re-check my bags? Thanks!
You will have to go through US Immigration, Customs, and Security but you won't have to claim your bags because you are on an International to International connection all on United through Houston.
