  • Terminal D to Terminal A
    Jul 18, 2013
What is the best way to get from Terminal D to Terminal A? How long does it take to get from D to A?

Assuming you are on the secure side, take the TerminaLink train. It should be about a 10-15 minute train ride.

  • Limited Layover Time?
    Jul 16, 2013
My flight UA 128 should arrive from Brazil at 5.10am and my connecting flight is AC8103 leaving at 7am. It's only an hour and a half connection to my next flight. I'm wondering if this is enough time to make my connection which the website says is from Terminal E to Terminal A. Any advice would be useful! Thanks

That should be enough time. Immigration will be pretty empty at that time. You just have to go back through security in Terminal E then take the TerminaLink train to Terminal A.

  • Terminal E to Terminal C
    Jul 12, 2013
Hi, I am arriving at Terminal E on a BA flight BA195 on 25th July and need to link up with family arriving at Terminal C UA 257 from San Diego, Can I walk from E to C?, Than ks

On the secure side you can easily, but you will be funneled through immigration and out to the non-secure area in Terminal E. You can probably go through the corridor the Inter-Terminal Train uses to go back to Terminal C (or maybe even take the Inter-Terminal Train itself)

Also, British Airways arrivals are in Terminal D, not Terminal E, but the instructions on how to get to C are the same.

We are flying out of Cancun on 7-26, we have only 1hr 12 min layover at IAH. Going into terminal E, then out of terminal C. Does anyone know if we will have to reclaim baggage then recheck? Ive been told that we do and we don't. Worried about not making the flight to CLE with going through customs and having to deal with baggage situation.

    Flying United for all flights

Yes, any time you enter the US from abroad you have to claim your baggage in immigration, clear customs, and then re-check. Yes, you have a very tight connection but at least United has lots of IAH-CLE flights that you can be rebooked on.

  • Denver to IAH to Nashville
    Jul 10, 2013
I am coming from Denver to IAH on United Express UA1742 and leaving on UA5914. I only have 30 minutes between flights - will I have enough time? Help..!

You will have to hope your first flight is on-time and hurry. You will likely have to take the TerminaLink train from Terminal C to Terminal B. There are at least several later flights to Nashville if you miss your connection to 5914.

  • Time needed
    Jul 10, 2013
Time needed to go from Terminal A to Terminal B? Will land at 12:09 on Flight 4866 Operated by EXPRESSJET AIRLINES DBA UNITED EXPRESS in Terminal A. Will take off from Terminal B at 12:52 with Flight 6475 Operated by Tyrolean Airways. Will I have enough time to make it to Terminal B?

No flights at IAH are operated by Tyrolean Airways. Where are you flying to on your second flight?

  • terminal arrival to terminal c arrival
    Jul 10, 2013
Is it easy to get to Terminal C arrivals from Terminal E arrivals by walking

I will be arriving on BA195(term E) and meeting a flight from San Diego (UA) about 4pm(maybe term C)

  • How to get to terminal B?
    Jul 9, 2013
My friend will be on United Airlines 0128 flight from Rio de Janeiro to Houston on Saturday, July 13. She'll arrive at Terminal E on Sunday, July 14 at 5:30 AM. She will take the connecting flight UA 4505. How can she get to Terminal B? She doesn't speak English an is travelling with a 10 year old child? Another question... Can I or she order a motorized car?

All she has to do is go back through security after re-checking her baggage in Terminal E and then follow the signs to the TerminaLink train and take that to Terminal B.

  • which terminals/gates do I arrive and depart out of
    Jul 9, 2013
FLT 5671 from LCH to IAH tomorrow and then connecting to FLT 411 to TPA. Both operated by United. Less than an hour to catch connection at IAH

5671 will likely arrive in A-North (although it could also arrive in B) and 411 will likely depart from C (although it could also depart from E). To go between terminals, take the TerminaLink train which operates on the secure side. If your first flight is On-time you'll be OK.

  • Enough time to connect
    Jul 9, 2013
I'm coming in on United Flight UA5673 from Indy at 7:57am and I only have 51 mintues to connect to my United Express Flight UA4236 to El Paso...will I have enough time to make my connection?

5673 will likely arrive in Terminal B and 4236 will also likely operate from Terminal B so you should be able to easily make your connection. There's a slight chance that one flight might be in Terminal A-North. If so take the TerminaLink train between terminals. If your first flight is on-time you'll have enough time.

  • I have 47 minutes in between connections at IAH - enough time?
    Jul 8, 2013
I will be arriving on United from OMA into IAH and have 47 minutes till a connecting flight goes to CRP (also on United). I have heard that IAH just expanded the terminals and there was some concern if I had to run from A to E terminals. Is 47 minutes enough time to make two in the continental US connections?

It appears that most of the United Express flights from OMA to IAH arrive in Terminal B (the mainline flight can arrive in C or E, usually C). All the IAH-CRP flights operate from A or B. So there's a good chance both your flights will be in B. If your first flight is on-time you should have enough time regardless though.

arriving IAH on UA4299 2:30pm departing IAH on Lufthaansa 8867 at 4:10pm.what is the distance I will have to go and can I order a motorized cart?

Your arriving flight will likely be in Terminal B and your departing flight will be in Terminal D if it is truly on Lufthansa (however, I cannot flind a Lufthansa flight 8867 from Houston and the number 8867 indicates that it is a codeshare flight operated by United). If you need assistance, request wheelchair assistance from United. Terminals B and D are connected by the TerminaLink train.

Thank you so much as this will be a big help - especially the info that it will most likely be a United flight not a Lufthansa flight. I would have been looking for the wrong thing.. Thanks again

Where is your second flight to?

My second flight is from Franfurt to Prague. Thanks for helping

    So you're flying Somewhere-IAH-FRA-PRG?

I will be arriving on United airlines from Edmonton,Alberta then connect to Fort Lauderdale on United as well. Will I have to change terminals and if so do I catch a tram or can I walk

As Edmonton Airport has U.S. Customs clearance, you are considered a domestic arrival at IAH. United is the only airline using Terminals A, B, C & E. On arrival, simply look at overhead screens to find your connecting flight & gate number; then look for the LinkTrain sign which starts at Terminal A and runs inside security taking a total of 30 mins to Terminal D/E station. (gate numbers correspond to Terminal (i.e., A10).

You will likely both arrive and depart in Terminal C.

    thanks, much appreciated

I arrive 7/6 on flt 4598 terminal b and depart on flt4601 terminal a. how do I get there

Note that sometimes 4601 will depart from Terminal B, however, if you do have to get between A and B, it's just a 5-10 minute ride on the TerminaLink train.

Arriving from PTY to Houston on United UA1033. What Terminal I will arrive. Where do I go next (Customs/Security). My destination flight is LAX UA1695. What Terminal, internal transportation I need to take and directions to get there. Thanks a lot!

On arrival at IAH, the International Arrivals building can be accessed from both Terminal E & C, with separate US Customs. Arriving passengers go through customs & take the escalator down to Baggage Claim Level 1. From there they go through Exit Control and enter to the right the baggage recheck area, which has an escalator down to the Inter-Terminal Train to Terminals A, B & C. (After customs clearance and re-checking-in bags, go straight out to the International Arrivals Lobby which has an escalator down to the Inter-Terminal Train taking you to your connecting terminal). United Airlines uses Terminals A, B & E. On arrival look at overhead screens to find your flight & gate number, as well as your departure time.

You will arrive in Terminal E and depart from Terminal C. You will likely not have to take any trains.
