I will be traveling on 12-24-16 from San Juan to Huston and then to Guadalajara, the time is 1:50 minutes inHuston to aboard the plane to go to Guadalajara do i need more time? do i need to claim bags on huston and re check everything to go to Guadalajara?
All you have to do is go from your arrival gate to your departure gate if both flights are on the same reservation. The Skyway train connects all terminals inside security. You should have enough time.
Looking at a UA itinerary SJO-IAH-DSM with a 1:45 connection in IAH. Unfortunately I have no experience connecting through IAH so don't know if this is realistic. What do you think? If it matters -- I'm traveling alone, no checked luggage, and I have Global Entry.
Yes, that should be enough time, especially with no checked bags and Global Entry.
My son is travelling from Heathrow arriving in Houston (with United) at 2.10pm. He has a connection (again with United) to LAX at 4.00pm. Firstly is that enough time with immigration etc. and secondly will his luggage go straight through or does he need top collect it and re-check it in?
Yes, that should be barely enough time if everything goes smoothly. In Houston he will go through US Immigration, claim his bags, go through US Customs, re-check his bags at the re-check desk, go through security and to his departure gate. If its in another terminal the skyway train connects all terminals inside security.
I have a united flight arriving from Frankfurt and a United departure 1 hr 20 min later. Can I manage customs and transfer?
Realistically no, that is not enough time. I would not recommend less than 2 hours.
I am flying international from London and flying out domestic to Orlando. Will I have time pass through immigration, collect luggage in Term E and then get to Term C, luggage drop, pass through TSA security checks for xfer flight in 1hr 45minsetc
That will be difficult, but it's not impossible.
Do I have enough time? From SFO to Bonaire with a 1 hour connection in IAH?
On the return from Bonaire to SFO I have 1 hour and 20 minutes. Is that enough time to get through immigration? No checked bags. Thanks
Forgot to mention all flights are United
On the way there that is enough time. On the way back that will be difficult, even without checked bags. Luckily United has frequent flights from IAH to SFO.
FLYING WITH UNITED FROM DALLAS FT.WORTH (DFW) TO HOUSTON INTERCONTINENTAL AIRORT THEN ON TO SAN JOSE, COSTA RICA. I HAVE 32 MINUTES BETWEEN FLIGHTSTO MAKE THE SAN JOSE FLIGHT IF ALL GOES WELL. DO I AND MY BAGS HAVE ENOUGH TIME TO MAKE THE SAN JOSE FLIGHT?
It's possible, but it obviously leaves no time to spare if the flight from DFW is delayed at all.
I have a flight from Edmonton to Houston with a 40min connection before my flight to Miami. Is this enough time? Carry on bags only
Yes, that is possible if the flight from Edmonton is on-time. You will pre-clear US Immigration and Customs in Edmonton.
I have a flight from Venezuela to Delhi (India) with connections in Houston IAH and Newark, all with United. Do I need to claim my baggage in Houston? and pass through Customs ??
Yes, in Houston you will have to go through US Immigration, claim your bags, go through US Customs, re-check your bags at the re-check desk, and go through security. If you are a Venezuelan or Indian citizen you will need a transit visa.
Thanks a lot for you response
Flying from Birmingham al on united with checked bags having been checked in Birmingham 52 minute layover in Houston before flight to Calgary Alberta arriving concourse b departing for Calgary from terminal b- do I have time to make this flight?
Yes, all you have to do in Houston is walk from your arrival gate to your departure gate. You have enough time.
Uhh oh I meant 42 minute layover to get to terminal b to c at Houston for flight to Calgary thanks for any help
Still possible. The Skyway train connects all terminals inside security.
