United cancelled our original flights and we had to changed dates/flight times. Already have plan B and plan C in case we miss connections but just found this site and would love input.

UA 3982 from Cleveland next Saturday, connecting in Houston to Cozumel flight UA1545. Layover of 44 minutes. Hoping we land in terminal C and I am assuming we deport terminal E. If we land on time, I am assuming we can make the flight connection.

Now for the return flight of UA1546 from Cozumel with a checked bag, we now only have a little over 1 1/2 hours to clear customs, get bags, recheck and make next flight UA2024. We have been spoiled by flying through Charlotte and have done the same thing in 30 minutes. Does Houston now have kiosks to scan documents? What are our chances of making it in time!
The flight from Cleveland will almost definitely arrive in B. You will depart from E. Houston does have kiosks, it just handles many more international arrivals and has longer security lines than Charlotte. Your flight to Cleveland will depart from C.
Arriving from Brazil at 07:10AM and departing to Mexico at 8:45AM. Hand baggage only. Is the onestop thing available these days?
Both flights are United as well
Yes, Onestop is available.
Is 1 hour 20 minute connection enough time to make the Guadalajara flight? Need to go through security?
Note: Both flights are with United Airlines
Yes, that is plenty of time. No you do not have to go through security. All you have to do is go from your arrival gate to your departure gate. The Skyway train connects all terminals inside security.
Land at 10:35 am leave at 11:25 am both with United. is 50 minutes enough time?
Yes, that is enough time. All you have to do on your way to Cabo is go from your arrival gate to your departure gate. If you have to change terminals the Skyway train connects all terminals inside security.
Hello, I am arriving at 7:50pm to IAH from Panama Latin America, and have a connection at 9:20pm towards San Francisco. All in same reservation. No gate has been posted yet. Will I have time to go through Customs, re-check bags and get to boarding gate?? Any tip?
Yes, in Houston you will go through US Immigration, claim your bags, go through US Customs, re-check your bags at the re-check desk, go through security and to your departure gate. You have barely enough time if everything goes perfectly.
can I recheck my bags once out of customs or do I have to go outside and start over at the main ticket counter?
If both tickets are on the same reservation, then you can re-check your bags at the re-check desk at the exit of customs.
one ticket is on Avianca the other United not sure what "same reservation" means
did you purchase your tickets in one transaction or two separate transactions?
I'm flying through Houston on Wednesday on United (both flights). Arrive in Terminal C from Newark, leave an hour later from Terminal E for Puerto Vallarta. Is an hour enough time for this transfer, or should I start exploring other options?
Yes, that is enough time. All you have to do is walk from your arrival gate to your departure gate.
My flight got changed with United and now I only have 35 minutes (from land to dep) to go from Terminal B to E for an international flight. Should I even try it? I heard the train should only take 5 minutes or so, but I didn't know if there would be anything else in my way. My first flight is Tulsa > IAH, so I wouldn't think there would be any troubles there, but you never know. Thanks!
Yeah, it's possible. You can call and ask United for an earlier flight from Tulsa if there is one if you're worried.
Hello, I am arriving today to Houston drom Munich and going directly to San Jose, Costa Rica. I have around 3 hrs layover. Do I need to go via customs and check in my luggae again? Will that be enough time for me to manage and get on the flight to San Jose?
You do not have to claim your bags, you can just go through US Immigration and Customs at the Onestop line and then go through security. You have enough time.
on oct 18 i am flying from albuquerque to baton rouge with a connection of 1 hour in IAH. will that be enough time
Yes, that is enough time. Both flights will likely be in Terminal B, but if they are not the Skyway train connects all terminals inside security.
