I arrive via Air Canada in IAH in Terminal A at 2:55 pm and have to get to Terminal B to depart at 6:15pm. Where is the Skyway Tram located in Terminal A? Would I have to go through securtiy again? Would I have to go through customs? Would I have to get any checked in luggage? Do I have lots of time? Any advice or information is appreciated. Thanks
The Skyway is at the center of the terminal and well marked. No, you don't have to go through security again. You will pre-clear US Immigration and Customs in Canada. All you have to do is go from your arrival gate to your departure gate. You have plenty of time.
Hi.
I will fly in april 2017 from Port of Spain in Trinidad to Munich in Germany via Houston. Both flights with United. I have 1h 55min connecting time. I've ever been on IAH. Is it enough time?
Yes, that should be enough time if the flight from Trinidad is on-time.
We fly in to IAH from NZ on 23rd Dec landing at 1.45pm. We have a connecting flight to La Guardia at 3.34pm. Our bags will be checked through. However I'm now really concerned that won't be enough time to clear customs. Will we be OK or should I change to the 5.45pm flight? I'd prefer the shorter layover as our travel time is already nearly 20 hours. Thanks
I have never had a connecting flight before. Have always flown direct. I have 60 minutes from when our flight arrives in Houston till our flight to Quito leaves. Do I need to get my luggage in Houston or do they route it to the connecting flight? What terminal will I arrive in, what terminal will we depart from? Any help is greatly apprecitated.
What airlines are you flying? Where in Canada are you coming from?
Flying in to Houston from Toronto on Air Canada. Connecting in Houston to United Airlines flight to Quito Ecuador
You will arrive in Terminal A and depart from Terminal E. You will pre-clear US Immigration and customs in Toronto. All you have to do in Houston is take the Skyway train from Terminal A to Terminal E and walk to your departure gate. You have enough time.
Thank you so much
Hi. I'm travelling from Belize City in March to IAH and then onto London. There's 2 hours between the flights (both United Airlines). Is this enough time? Thanks
Yes, that should be enough time if everything goes smoothly.
We will be flying on United from Belize through IAH. Is 2 hrs 35 minutes enough time to get through customs with checked baggage?
Yes, that should be enough time.
There is 1 hour halt at IAH airport. Does 1 hour enough to travel from Terminal C to Terminal D?
Yes, that is enough time. All you have to do is walk from your arrival gate to your departure gate.
Hi i am travelling from Calgary to dALLAS connecting inIAH . I got 1h30min lay over to connect from terminal E to Terminal C Do I have enough time ..and Do i have to recheck my luggage or it will be done automatically
Yes, that is enough time and you also won't arrive in Terminal E. You will pre-clear US Immigration and Customs in Calgary. You don't have to do anything with your bags in Houston.
I will be traveling on 12-24-16 from San Juan to Huston and then to Guadalajara, the time is 1:50 minutes inHuston to aboard the plane to go to Guadalajara do i need more time? do i need to claim bags on huston and re check everything to go to Guadalajara?
All you have to do is go from your arrival gate to your departure gate if both flights are on the same reservation. The Skyway train connects all terminals inside security. You should have enough time.
Looking at a UA itinerary SJO-IAH-DSM with a 1:45 connection in IAH. Unfortunately I have no experience connecting through IAH so don't know if this is realistic. What do you think? If it matters -- I'm traveling alone, no checked luggage, and I have Global Entry.
Yes, that should be enough time, especially with no checked bags and Global Entry.
My son is travelling from Heathrow arriving in Houston (with United) at 2.10pm. He has a connection (again with United) to LAX at 4.00pm. Firstly is that enough time with immigration etc. and secondly will his luggage go straight through or does he need top collect it and re-check it in?
Yes, that should be barely enough time if everything goes smoothly. In Houston he will go through US Immigration, claim his bags, go through US Customs, re-check his bags at the re-check desk, go through security and to his departure gate. If its in another terminal the skyway train connects all terminals inside security.
