From Managua to final destination Mexico - going through Houston, both planes United. Ony 1hr 10 minutes to make it happen, possible? Do I need to do customs and pick -rechecked bags AND THEN DO SECURITY?
Sounds risky but other options involves 20 hours flights with 8-12 hs layovers...
THANKS IN ADVANCE FOR YOUR HELP AND COLLABORATION!
You do have to go through US Immigration, Customs, and Security but you do not have to claim and re-check your bags. 70 minutes is extremely risky, especially for a non-citizen or Global Entry/Sentri member.
Thanks so much for your information
Means a lot-
You are doing an awesome job helping out people.

GOD BLESS YOU!
HI. I´m planning a trip from Miami to Managua Nicaragua. Best route is through Houston with a layover of 40m. Should I do again customs in Houston? I am from Costa Rica. I am afraid 0 minutes will not be enough time to take the other flight....Ia ppreciate in advance your sincere comments.
There is no US Customs when leaving the US. All you have to do on your way to Managua is go from your arrival gate to your departure gate. 40 minutes is possible.
I am reaching Houston IAH Terminal C at 4 20 pm. I have to reach my shuttle at 5 at Terminal A. Will there be enough time? Else I have to book a shuttle that would pick me from Terminal C. Thanks in advance
Realistically, no that's not enough time unless everything goes perfectly if you have checked bags. If you don't have checked bags, I might try it.
Thanks, I do have checked in luggage and will have to reach Terminal B from Terminal C. What is the best way to reach Terminal B? ANy suggestions?
The Subway train is the way to go from C to B with checked luggage after claiming it.
I arrive from NYC to IAH in terminal C and have a 1h layover to catch my flight to Quito, ecuador, from terminal E. Both flights are United Airlines. Is it enough time? Any suggestions?
Yes, that is enough time if the first flight is on-time. You just have to walk from your arrival gate to your departure gate.
I will be travelling back from Costa Rica to London through IAH with United (all in terminal E) and I have a 2h transfer time. Is that enough?
Yes, that should be enough time.
I'll fly from CUN to FRA via IAH (first flight UA, the second is UA but operated by LH). I read that, if flying international to international on United, the baggages are forwarded on the next flight and it's possible to acces the Onestop line at the immigration, but is this valid also for a codeshare flight?
I'm not sure, you'll have to try to ask the United personnel in Cancun but they may not know either.
The transfer time in IAH is 1hour and 45 min.
We have checked bags and 2 small kids. This is not enough time, right?
It's enough time if everything goes smoothly.
Is a 1 hour and 10 minute layover enough time for a connection? Flying United the entire trip from ICT to Houston with 1 hour and 10 minutes layover to catch a flight to Cabo. I believe we get into Terminal B and leave from Terminal E.
Yes, that is enough time. The Skyway train connects all terminals inside security.
Hello, I'm looking at a flight from LHR to DEN with connection in IAH. The layover in IAH is only 1 hour 25 minutes. Is this enough time? Also, can you tell me if I have to clear customs in IAH or DEN? Thank you!
Yes, in Houston you will go through US Immigration, claim your bags, go through US Customs, re-check your bags at the re-check desk, then go through security and to your departure gate. I recommend at least 2 hours.
Thanks for your reply! I have the immigration fast pass from GOES. Do you still recommend 2 hours? Or will I make it with 1.5 hours?
With Global Entry 90 minutes is possible, but still slightly risky. United does have lots of flights from Houston to Denver though.
Thank you!
Hey, I have a connection in Houston to Denever with my wife and two kids and was curious if 1 hour 20 minutes was enough time to recheck bags and get through customs?
Whee are you flying into Houston from?
