Flying from Birmingham al on united with checked bags having been checked in Birmingham 52 minute layover in Houston before flight to Calgary Alberta arriving concourse b departing for Calgary from terminal b- do I have time to make this flight?
Yes, all you have to do in Houston is walk from your arrival gate to your departure gate. You have enough time.
Uhh oh I meant 42 minute layover to get to terminal b to c at Houston for flight to Calgary thanks for any help
Still possible. The Skyway train connects all terminals inside security.
We have had an itinerary change and now have a TWO hour layover in Houston, we are 5 people (2 Adults plus older kids/teens), with luggage including ski gear in holiday season (Dec 27. '17; Arr 13:40 - Dep 15:40)
Both flights are United (although NZ to Houston is code share with Air NZ)
Is this enough time to get through customs, security etc to make the connection to Denver? Or should I NOT accept the itinerary change?
Yes, that is enough time if the first flight is on-time. You could ask for a later flight to Denver if that makes you more comfortable though.
I have a scheduled 530 pm flight departing SAT arriving in IAH around 635pm. My layover is 40min for the next international flight to Frankfurt. Is that enough time to arrive at the gate or will it be pushing the buttons? thank you for the response. Another option would be leaving SAT to IAD with a 1hr 25 min layover and departure for Frankfurt. Is that enough time with assuming everything already checked in?
It's possible but obviously doesn't leave much time to spare. If you haven't booked it yet, I would book the 1 hr 25 min layover at IAD.
thx! So going with the 435 from SAT to IAD with a 1hr 25 layover is doable? It is in the holiday timeframe December 20/21. I don't know how IAD is connection wise..
Hi, Arriving on a Monday morning from Tokyo on NH, and have a connection to YUL via IAD on UA. Transit time is 2:35. Is this enough time to clear customs etc and re check in? Alas due to work ticketing restrictions it will be seperate tickets, and won't be able to check through my bags all the way from Tokyo. Thanks in advance
WIthout bags checked through this is just enough time if everything goes smoothly. You can also show your United confirmation to the ANA agent in Tokyo when checking in and ask that your bags be checked through to Montreal.
Hi, I want to travel back from Cancun via Hou to Frankfurt. Lay over would be 3 hrs. Is that enough to pass US customs and get from Terminal E to D? It'll be Jan 3rd 2017 or is there a lot of travelers due to holidays?
Yes, that should be enough time if everything goes smoothly. January 3 is the end of the holiday season.
I am flying Memphis to Houston to Belize City and have a 51 minute layover at IAH. Is that enough time to get off our flight to the Int'l terminal if we carry on bags? I'm assuming there's no way we'd make it with checked luggage. Me and wife traveling
If both flights are on the same reservation it doesn't matter if you have checked bags or not, you don't have to do anything with them on your way to Belize. All you have to do in Houston is go from your arrival gate to your departure gate. You have enough time. The Skyway train connects all terminals inside security.
Hi, chilean citizen here. I am fliying (January) from Toronto to Houston, and then from Houston to Santiago Chile. My layover in Houston to take my connection to Chile is only 1 hr... do you think is enough time? will they make me take my luggage and go thru security in Houston or they will send it straight to Chile? Thank you!
You will pre-clear US Immigration and Customs in Toronto. All you have to do in Houston is go from your arrival gate to your departure gate. The Skyway train connects all terminals inside security.
Hi, I'm flying by EVA BR52 next Tuesday to IAH arriving at 11PM, then I have a very long stopover, about 17hrs in IAH. Departing on Wednesday 5:40PM to GDL with United. Would UA accept I drop my luggage after passing customs despite the long stop over time? Or I have to take my luggage out of the airport with me to kill time? Both flights are one ticket.
No, you will have to wait until at least the next morning to check your bags with united.
