After arriving Terminal C I have 1 hour 07 minutes to connect with an international flight out of terminal D do you think this is enough time?
If both flights are on the same reservation that is enough time. All you have to do is go from your arrival gate to your departure gate.
I am going from el salvador to vancouver with a layover in IAH (united airlines) the layover is for about 6 hours. So i was wondering if i go to US immigration and then claim my luggage do i have to stay with them the 6 hours or i have to re check them again?
Yes, you will arrive in Terminal E, go through US Immigration, customs, and security. You should not have to claim and re-check your bags because you are on an International to International connection with both flights on United.
Is that enough time?
It's barely enough time if the first flight is on-time. The Skyway train connects all terminals inside security.
I am looking at a flight arriving at IAH with a 49 minute layover and terminal change. I don't know which terminals for arrival and departure yet, just that there ia a terminal change. Is 49 minutes enough for a domestic flight?
It looks like we would arrive in Terminal B and Depart Terminal C
Yes, that is enough time if the first flight is on-time. The Skyway train connects all terminals inside security.
hi, , flying into iah terminal B on United from Washington DC and have layover of an hour then get on United from terminal C to Oaklahoma, is that enough time and will we have to do security again?

You likely have your terminals reversed - you will arrive in C and depart from B, anyway, no you don't have to go through security again - the Skyway train connects all terminals inside security.
Thanks for the reply, you were right!! Landed at E and Got on the gate on time on terminal C. Btw the gate on my boarding pass said b83 but when we got there it was c23! So people MUST chk gate number again
hi. i am traveling form Norway to Colombia. My first stopp will be in Amsterdam. My second stop is in Houston. both flight are with United airlines and it arrives and leaves from terminal E. My question. is it enough time to change the plane? do i need to claim my luggage and check it again ? do i need to go through US immigration, customs and security? all flight is one booking.
Yes, in Houston you will go through US Immigration, Customs, and Security. However, since both flights are on United and it is an international to international connection you should not have to claim your bags. Still, this is a very difficult connection, bordering on impossible unless the flight from Amsterdam arrives quite early or the flight to Colombia is delayed.
is it still impossible even if my arrival and departure is from the same terminal E? what should i do if i miss my flight? is there more flights to Bogota, Colombia the same day?
and what happens to my luggage?
If you miss your connection you will be rebooked on the next available flight to Bogota. I don't know if there's more flights because I don't know which one you're on. Your bags will either be on your original flight or be sent on the first flight they can get on.
Hi. We are a group travelling from Rio and having a connecting flight to EWR with a final destination to YUL, Canada with United. Will we have to claim our luggage upon our arrival to IAH, go through the customs & recheck them or they will go directly to the final destination (YU)?
Yes, in Newark you will go through US Immigration, claim your bags, go through US Customs, re-check your bags at the re-check desk, then take the AirTrain to your departure terminal if it is different from where you arrive, and go through security.
Hi we are a family traveling from Auckland to Bogota through IAH. Do we have to go through customs? We only have 1h30min and with three kids we are worried to miss the flight
Yes, you will go through US Immigration, Customs, and Security and may have to claim and re-check your bag. This is right on the limit of a technically legal connection and in my opinion is likely impossible unless the flight from Auckland arrives significantly early.
I arrive on Gate A today and depart Gate B. Short 30 minute stop. What is quickest way to get to B from A?
The Skyway train connects all terminals inside security. You have no time to spare.
hi - I arrive on AirNZ flight from Auckland to transit to Washington DC. I have 2 hours on arrival and 1 hour on return. I am concerned that the 2 hours wont be enough to go through immigation and Customs - can you advise? Also can you advise what terminal I likely go through when I fly from Washington to Auckland?
That should be enough time. On your return you will likely arrive in Terminal C and depart from Terminal D.
