My flight from DFW to MUN (Germany) is via IAH. Do I need to do security check again and IAH. My flight is throughout united airlines.
Is 50 minutes layover sufficient
All you have to do in Houston is go from your arrival gate to your departure gate. You do not have to go through security again. You have enough time.
Hello! I'm looking to fly from Minneapolis to Managua, Nicaragua. It connects in Houston with a 65 minuyte layover.

Is this enough time to get to the flight for Managua? Will we need to claim our baggage or will it be passed through automatically?

Ready to book the tickets, but need to ensure it'll work as planned. Thanks in advance for any guidance!
Yes, that is enough time. If both flights are on United then all you have to do in Houston is go from your arrival gate to your departure gate.
i am arriving domestic United and going to international United for Buenos Aries, do in have enough time for a 45 minute connection? thank you
Yes, that's enough time but it leaves no time to spare if the first flight is delayed.
Sunday 11/13 I am flying United 335 from GDL on to United 6148 to ATL, I have 1hr 55min between flights. Will I Make it through customs in time for my connection and what terminal will I arrive in and how far is that from my connecting terminal?
You will arrive in Terminal E, go through US Immigration, claim your bags, go through US Customs, re-check your bags at the re-check desk and go through security. You will depart from Terminal B or C. The Skyway train connects all terminals inside security.
Hi! I'm Mexican flying United Airlines from MEX to IAH and then to NRT. The first flight arrives in IAH at 8:38 and the second one departs at 10:15 (this one is operated by ANA).This is a 1h37m connection. Do you think this is enough time? Will I have to change terminals? If so, is it easy to do it fast?
The airline changed our flight schedule and we now have only 40 minutes connection time at IAH. Our flight from Chicago O'Hare to Houston arrives at 5 pm, and the flight from Houston to San Jose, Costa Rica leaves at 5:40 pm. Can you tell me the likely terminals we'll arrive at/depart from at IAH and whether we're likely to make our connection with only 40 minutes? And would we need to take the Skyway or the Subway to get to the departure terminal ? We'll only have carry-on bags, no checked bags.
You will arrive in C and depart from E. This is possible if the flight from Chicago is on-time. You will not have to use the Skyway.
On Sunday I am due to arrive from London Heathrow at 15:15 on United. I am scheduled to leave for Managua, again on United, at 17:35. I am UK National with valid ESTA. Can I make that connection. Any tips for the best way to get through immigration etc?
Yes, you can make that connection. Since you are on an International to International connection all on UA, you can use the Onestop immigration and customs counters.
We arrive at Terminal A and need to get to Terminal D - How do we get there and how long will it take. Tks for your help.
If your bags are checked through then you take the Skyway, it should take less than 10 minutes. If you have to transfer bags yourself you take the Subway, it takes a bit longer and runs outside security.
I'm flying from Mexico (QRO) to Toronto (YYZ) all with United,. What is the process I must follow? Do I need to get my checked bags and re-check them in? Is 2h30m enough time? I read about a "Onestop" alternative but I don't quite understand if I apply to it since I have checked bags. Thanks in advance
Forgot to mention I'm mexican and I have tourist US and Canadian visa.
Yes, you can use Onestop since you are on an International to International connection all on United. You don't need to claim and re-check your bags.
Hi dear, I am a little but nervous for our transit. We will arrive on 13.55 hour on Houston Airport and we will departure to Cancun on 15.52. Do I need to claim my luggage? I read something about US Customs but what does this means? I never had a transit before and I never went to the USA. Thanks for your help!
Flight is with United
Where are you flying into Houston FROM?
From Amsterdam to Houston
I forgot to tell that I am Dutch and I applied for an ESTA already
Since you are on an International to International connection, you will not have to claim your luggage in Houston, but you will have to go through US Immigration, customs, and security. You have enough time.
Okay, great! So you only have to claim your luggage en recheck when you have a national flight? When I am ready at US immigration, do I have to check-in for my second flight? Is everything clearly marked on the airport? I am sorry for all my questions but when I read this page yesterday(about all the people who missed their transit) I was totally stressed
Yes, everything is well marked. You should be checked in for and given boarding passes for both flights when you check in in Amsterdam.
