Flying United - coming from Iowa and have a 40 to 50 minute layover. Flying on to Belize with United and don't know where that plane leaves from - it that enough time to get to the departure terminal if it is clear at the other end.
Your flight from Des Moines will arrive in Terminal B and your flight to Belize will depart from Terminal E. They are connected inside security by the Skyway train. You have enough time if the first flight is on-time.
I am traveling with my service dog from Jax to IAH and then with a 1 hour 23 min layover before going toMexico. I have a global entry card and only 1 carry on. Can I do the transfer with time to toilet the dog, or should I find a longer connection. I am mobility challenged and will use United air services to change terminals.
That should be plenty of time.
I think I will have to go back thru security check point after going to dog relief area. Is there a relief area close to the international terminal side?
Traveling from LAX to Nassau I have only 1 hour layover Is this enough time ?
Yes, all you have to do in Houston is walk from your arrival gate to your departure gate.
I'm looking at booking a flight from Calgary to Bogota with a 1h30m connection at IAH with a terminal change. Would I have to re-clear customs or security when I switch terminals?
You will pre-clear US Immigration and Customs in Calgary. All you have to do in Houston is go from your arrival gate to your departure gate. You have enough time.
We arrive from Auckland at 1:40pm via Air New Zealand. There's a 6:19pm Delta flight to ATL. Will we have enough time to get our bags, clear customs, recheck our luggage and make the Delta flight? We have applied for Global Entry, but not sure we'll have our card by then. Thanks!
Yes, that should be plenty of time. Once you have cleared customs you will take the Subway train to Terminal A to re-check your bags with Delta and go through security.
Thank you for the information, ZAP!
A group of 30 lands in IAH at 7:59am, our next flight is at 9:00am. Not sure of terminal yet, flying United, going to Monterrey. How hard will this really be? PS, group leader has a broken ankle with a boot.
Where are they flying into IAH from? If it's in the US that should be enough time.
Will a 1hr 13min Layover Work with a Terminal Change or a 1hr 53min Layover With Terminal Change?
Yes, that is plenty of time. All you have to do is go from your arrival gate to your departure gate.
Is there a nails place in IAH to get a manicure during my layover?
I am traveling to Frankfurt via IAH from Memphis. I arrive in terminal B and leave out of terminal D with a 1 hour layover. Is this enough time in to get to terminal D?
Yes, that should be enough time. You just have to go from your arrival gate to your departure gate and the Skyway train connects all terminals inside security.
Hi coming from Amsterdam and going to Costa Rica with a 6 hour layover in IAH. Do I need to stay in the transit area or can I enter the domestic terminal as well. I want to do some shopping :) I am on an ESTA visum but am not sure if I can enter the US while entering in terminal E. Thx in advance!
US Airports do not have a Transit Area. You will go through US Immigration and Customs. At that point you will be outside security and free to go where you want as long as you show up to your flight to San Jose. You will have to go through security again to access your departure gate, so be sure to be in the security line at least 2 hours before your departure time for San Jose.
Excellent, thank you!
