Hi - I'm flying MTY - IAH - LHR on United and I have a 1h13 layover at IAH terminal E. Will I have to clear immigration? Is this enough time?
That's not realistically enough time for an International to International connection in Houston.
Hi, I flew through IAH previously and missed my flight because I could not clear customs and recheck my bags in 3-ish hours. I have another trip coming up arriving on Tuesday, Oct 18th at 5:55pm from London with a 3 hr 37 min layover. Will I be able to clear customs and recheck my bags for a domestic flight with this amount of time? I'm hoping my first IAH experience was a fluke. Thank you so much for your advice!
You should be able to.
Great, thank you very much Zap!
I have made the Mexico City to domestic connection dozens of times in about an hour.
Really? Ok that's very reassuring. Must have been a really off day then. Thank you for your reply!
I'm flying from Mexico City to IAH and land in terminal E at 2:23 pm if it's on time on a Thursday. My connection flight to CLE is at 3:50 pm in terminal C. (1 h 27 min layover). Will I have enough time to clear customs, recheck my bag and get to my connection?
I should have mentioned both flights are United airlines.
That's less than the recommended time. It will be very difficult.
arriving in Houston 9/28/16 united airlines at 6:35am. Leaving Houston on united airlines to dulles at 7:15am. is this enough time to make my connection? husband and myself are not fast walkers d/t some debility.
Where are you arriving into Houston from? I can't answer your question without that information.
arriving from corpus christi
Yes that should be enough time if your first flight is on-time. The skyway train connects all terminals inside security.
Hi, I'm looking at flights from Europe to Austin and one option is through IAH; arriving with LH440 at 2h05 PM and leaving with UA8636 at 3h35. Is 1h30min aufficient time for the transfer?
Realistically that is not enough time to make an International to Domestic connection in Houston. I would look at booking the next flight to Austin instead.
I am flying from LAX to CHS through IAH in November and United just changed my departure time so now I only have 35 minutes berween flights. I assume I have to change terminals so is that enough time?
It is possible but it leaves absolutely no time to spare. I would call United and ask for an earlier flight from LAX if there is one or alternatively, to be routed through Chicago to Charleston.
Hi , arrive from RIO 5:00 am and have a 7:10am departure for LAS, will I have enough time for connection/ customs . Arrive Terminal 2 and depart Terminal C. Thank you.
IAH does not have a Terminal 2. You will arrive in Terminal E. Yes, you have enough time.
Thank you this forum is so helpful!
I have 55 min. connecting time coming into Houston from Hartford, CT and then going to Cancun, MX Is this enough time?
Yes, all you have to do is go from your arrival gate to your departure gate. The Skyway train connects all terminals inside security. You should have enough time if the flight from Hartford is on-time.
arriving from Corpus Christi on 9/28/16 at 6:35A, going to Dulles at 7:15AM. Is it enough connection time?
Yes, that should be just enough time. You just have to go from your arrival gate to your departure gate. The Skyway train connects all terminals inside security.
We have a flight from Boston to Houston on United (UA2045) then depart from Houston to Auckland on Air New Zealand (NZ29) which gives us 1 hr 15 min from landing to take off. Will we have enough time?
Yes, that is enough time if both flights are on the same reservation. All you have to do is walk from your arrival gate to your departure gate.
