Daughter in law arriving IAH via SAN Antonio on United with a 1 hour layover to get to Air NZ flight from international lounge. I assume her bags will be checked from San An right through to NZ so is 1 hour long enough to get to the international gate as they usually board an hour prior to flight
Yes, that's enough time if the flight from San Antonio is on-time. All she has to do is go from her arrival gate to her departure gate.
I am flying from PTY to IAH to my final destination, SFO. My layover in IAH is 1hr 30mins. Is that enough time? Do i have to collect my luggage and go through immigration and customs? I am traveling solo with an infant.
You have to go through US Immigration, claim your bags, go through US Customs, re-check your bags at the re-check desk, then go through security and to your departure gate. You technically have a legal connection but I recommend at least 2 hours, especially with an infant.
Okay thank you! If I do not have any checked luggage does that mack much of a difference?
It does make it a little easier.
I arrive at IAH on Oct 10 terminal E can i walk to terminal c amd how long should it take?
Where is your flight into Houston from?
Belize City
You need at least 2 hours between your flights because you have to go through US Immigration, claim your bags, go through US Customs, re-check your bags at the re-check desk, then go through security and to your departure gate.
My mom is arriving with Air New Zealand to terminal D. She has to go through customs first, then pickup luggage, drop it off at UA transfer desk, then go through TSA and head over to term C.
1. Will 2 hours be enough?
2. What's the best route (walk or take the train) from D to C ?
3. If train is a better option, which one : pre-security (supposedly the lower level train) or the upper level above ground? Considering the steps she has to go through, will there be a choice?
Thanks
Yes, that should be enough time. The fastest way is just to walk.
I have flight from Salt Lake City to Guadalajara with 53m layover in Houston (in february) do you think this layover time is enough?
Yes, that is enough time. All you have to do is go from your arrival gate to your departure gate on your way to Mexico.
Is 1 hour enough time to get off a United flight (direct from Chicago) and transfer to an international flight- Air New Zealand?? I have never been to this airport. Thanks!
Yes, that is enough time. All you have to do is go from your arrival gate to your departure gate. All gates are connected inside security.
Thank you. What about our luggage making the connection :/ Seems tight but then again I have no idea!
It should also be enough time for your luggage.
Flying United from DTW to SLP with a 55 minute connection in IAH will I have to claim and recheck my bag and will this be enough time
You don't have to do anything with your bags on the way to Mexico. All you have to do is go from your arrival gate to your departure gate. You have enough time.
Hi,

I am travelling from São Paulo (GRU) Vancouver (YVR) via Houston (IAH). In Houston I have a 3h30 minute connection time. I haven't flown through the States recently so I assume I have to pick up bags and re-check in, pass customs, go through a TSA check and proceed to my connecting gate. Is this correct?

Will 3h30mins be sufficient to collect my luggage, clear customs, check back in, clear TSA and gate to my connecting gate in time?

Thank you for your time.
you will have to get bags and go through customs. but 3 hours should be more than enough time
Thank you!
I will fly to IAH - Terminal B. My connecting flight will be Terminal C. Layover is 35 minutes. Will I have enough time to get from Terminal B to Terminal C?
Yes, that is just enough time if everything goes smoothly.
I have the following flights:
UA657 LGA-IAH (Domestic) Landing at 8:50am. I believe it arrives at Terminal C.
**Connection time is 1hr**
UA1512 IAH-LIR (International), departing at 9:50am from Terminal E.

Do you think I can make it? Is there a route to follow that you'd advise so that I can rush through it and board my connection? Thank you all very much!
there should be a train that connects the terminal and an hour should be enough time.
Thank you!
