I have 1:38 hr to connect from the Cayman Islands to Portland, OR through IAH, both legs on UA. I have Global Entry and carry on only, but some limited mobility. Is this sufficient time to make connections after Customs?.
With Global Entry and carry-ons only that should be enough time.
I will be making a connection from New York and arriving at the IAH terminal at 10:49 a.m., my next flight is at 11:30 a.m. to New Orleans Will I have enough time to make it to my plane?
Yes, that is enough time if the first flight is on-time. If you have to change terminals the Skyway train connects all terminals inside security.
there's a 1h 49m layover in IAH for my connecting flight from Guatemala to Lubbock. Is this enough time? (it's all on the same United ticket)
also, forgot to mention I'm not a US citizen
That's barely enough time if everything goes smoothly.
Okay thanks I'll take another flight then. Also, is 1h24m enough going from Lubbock to Newark (EWR)?
Yes, on that connection all you have to do is go from your arrival gate to your departure gate. The Skyway train connects all terminals inside security.
Hi, We are US citizens flying in to Houston from Calgary. We arrive in Houston at 11:31am and our next flight (to Orlando) departs at 12:40pm. We are a family of 5. Will we need to clear U.S customs prior to our connecting flight? Will 70 minutes be enough time?
You will pre-clear US Immigration and Customs in Calgary. All you have to do in Houston is go from your arrival gate to your departure gate. You have enough time.
Hi, I already studied the questions around the necessary time between flight but still would like to double check. 1hr 4min can work for the change of flights between terminal B and D for a non-US citizen? Thanky ou!
Yes, that is enough time. All you have to do in Houston is go from your arrival gate to your departure gate and the Skyway train connects all terminals inside security.
Hello,
I am not US citizen, travelling from Bangalore to Guadalajara through IAH. Do I need to go thru US immigration, customs, collect my baggage before boarding connecting flight to GDL
Yes, you will have to go through US Immigration, Customs and security. What airlines are you flying? There are no nonstops from Bangalore to the US so where are you stopping first? Are all flights on the same reservation?
I am flying thru Lufthansa, first stopover at Frankfurt
yes they are with same reservation
If the flight from Frankfurt is operated by Lufthansa then you will have to claim your bags in Houston. If it's operated by United you won't. Your flight to Guadalajara will be operated by United.
Hi, I am travelling from POS, Trinidad to Houston, with a connecting flight to LAX arriving in terminal E and departing in terminal C with 2 hours layover. Is that enough time to clear US customs & immigration?
Also my return flight is from LAX - HOU, terminal C to E with 1 hour layover, can i make that?
thank you.
Yes, that is enough time both ways. On the way back to Trinidad all you have to do is walk from your arrival gate to your departure gate. Also, the airport code for Houston Intercontinental is IAH.
Thank you, one more question, will I have to re check my bags on arrival at IAH?
Yes, on arrival from POS you will have to go through US Immigration, claim your bags, go through US Customs, re-check your bags at the re-check desk, go through security and to your departure gate.
Hi. I will arrive from Costa Rica (LIR) at 19:38 at terminal E and have a connecting flight to London (LHR) on the same terminal at 21:00. I am not a US citizen. Will I have to go through emigration and security anyway? Will I have time to catch my flight to London? Thank you in advance for your answer.
Yes, you will have to go through US Immigration, Customs, and Security but will not have to claim your bags. You have barely enough time if everything goes perfectly.

Yes, it is. The Skyway train connects all terminals inside security.
I have a flight on Sat Feb 25 that lands in IAH at 8:10 (United express 6126 from CVG, either B or C I think) and a departing international flight at 8:55 (United 1096) will i have enough time? Worried
That is enough time if the first flight is on-time. The Skyway train connects all terminals inside security.
