The new passenger terminal at Peoria International Airport, opened in April 2011, covers about 125,000 square feet,  with 12 departure gates and able to handle over 2 million passengers annually. (The old terminal is being demolished).
Amenities and services inside the new terminal include landside and airside restaurants, a giftshop, free Wi-Fi acces throughout the terminal, an area in each of the wings for child activity, and a kiosk near the baggasge claim area offering information on area hotels and attractions.
There is a large conference suite for up to 24 people, and Premier Services are available (Premier Lot & Lounge memberships may be purchased. Premier Lot members may leave their car in the parking lot a short walk from the terminal, while lounge members have access to pass-coded lounge area with work stations).
