Hamilton Munro International Airport YHM serves the Canadian Province of Ontario. At this Airort, you can save money with low-cost air fares and cheaper parking, and experience less stress with fast lines, short walks, quicker take-offs. The Airport is open 24/7.
The Airport is located on the land bridge between Lake Ontario and Lake Erie, and only 48 miles from Niagara Falls. It is accessible from Highway 6 South (left onto Airport Terminal Road).
With two runways and 0.3 million passenger in 2012, Hamilton International Airport is served by WestJet with flights to Moncton, Halifax, Winnipeg, Calgary and Edmonton. During the winter months, WestJet provides non-stop service to three sun destinations: Cancun, Orlando and Punta Cana, plus service twice daily to Calgary.
Hamilton International Airport has one passenger terminal with a renovated Departures Lounge and a newly expanded International Arrivals Hall. Other amenities include a Bar & Grill, a retail & convenience shop, a Tourist and Airport Information booth, rental car desks, and in the post-security area duty-free shops, an ATM with US currency, & Tim Hortons. Free wireless internet access is available by connecting to 'Fly Hamilton Passenger WIFI'. Free baggage carts are placed throughout the terminal (please return to same area). The Canada Border Services Agency is at the east end of the terminal.
Parking options at Hamilton Airport include the Premium//Short-term Parking Lot in front of the passenger terminal and the Economy/Long-term Parking lot just beyond the premium parking. The premium lot offers the first half hour free - ideal for picking up a passenger. You can pay at the pay stations, at CrediparkExpress or Pay on Exit (automated) .
To get from the Airport to your destination, you can rent a car (Avis, Hertz, National), or take a taxi (Blue Line 905-525-BLUE, Hamilton Cab 1-877-525-2500, or Hamilton Limo 905-529-LIMO); or take a shuttle (Airlink 519-756-1944; Niagara Airbus 1-800-268-8111; Airways Transit 905-527-7511, or Red Car Service 519-84-9344). GO Trains & GO Buses connect the town of Hamilton with the Greater Toronto Area.
