Hello. We are first time travelers so I'm a little nervous about our upcoming trip. We leave MCI (Kansas City) at 6:00 a.m. and arrive in Atlanta at 8:59 a.m. our next flight for Aruba leaves at 10:43 a.m. All flights are on Delta. On return we leave Aruba at 3:40 p.m. and get to Atlanta at 8:03 p.m. Then leave there for Kansas City at 10:20 p.m. We have no clue what we are doing. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
That is plenty of time. All you have to do both ways in Atlanta is go from your arrival gate to your departure gate on the Plane Train. On the way back from Aruba, you will pre-clear US Immigration and Customs in Aruba.
When returning from Buenos Aires - Argentina do I have to claim my baggage at ALT and then check baggage in for TPA destination? or will bags travel from Buenos Aires to the final destination Tampa? thank you
In Atlanta you will go through US Immigration, claim your bags, go through US Customs, re-check your bags at the re-check desk, go through security and take the Plane Train to your departure concourse.
I will arrive Friday evening from Altanta Airport to Paris at 715pm, Flight leaves at 850pm. Flying with Air France and will have to check in a bag, Will I have enough time to check in bags, security etc. on a Friday evening. Have not left Atlanta Airport on Friday evening and was not sure about wait times during this time. Thanks
That should be enough time. Most of the other flights have left the International Terminal by then.
Hello. I am traveling to Lima (Peru) 13th of December with a layover in Atlanta of 3 hours. Can you explain me the procedure? Do i need go somewhere for take my bagage and check them in again myself? Its my first time i fly with a stop so i want be prepared as good as possible :)
On your way to Lima you don't have to do anything with your bags in Atlanta if both flights are on the same reservation.
