I have a quick trip planned soon to go visit family in Mexico. Am I going to have problems getting back to the country if I have a Green Card and I'm Mexican?
The immigration rules regarding Mexico have not changed.
Arrived in Atlanta 20 minutes ago. Stuck on runway. Captain said every single jetway system is down and not a single plane can taxi to the gate. He said no other flights are arriving in Atlanta until its fixed. He just came on the speaker system and said "there is no change and no update". Anyone at the airport know how long we will be stuck on the runway? Can y'all get the roll up stairs to the planes so we can deboard? Please give us an update. There is nothing on the Atlanta airport system about delays.

Delta's computer system went down so night flights could depart to open up any gates.
We are scheduled to have a 2 hr layover in ATL from a domestic to international flight (all on the same ticket). There is an earlier flight leaving ATL scheduled to leave 48 minutes after we land. Would we be able to get to that gate and see if we can catch this flight instead? We are carryon on only and flying Delta. Could we even check with the agents at the counter when we leave from our original destination to see if this is a possibility?
I wouldn't try it. Even if they allowed you to change, you'd be giving up seats on a safe connection in exchange for a risky connection.
Will be flying to Harrisburg, PA from the Bahamas. We will have a 5 hour layover in Atlanta. We have a 1 day pass to Delta Sky Club. Which Sky Club do you recommend for best FREE food and alcoholic drinks? Should we stay in the International one in Concourse F or travel to the domestic departure area? Looking to get the most value for money on our pass. Thanks
The one in F is likely one of the newest and best. The food and drinks will be the same.
Flying Harrisburg to Exuma, Bahamas. Have 2 hour layover in Atlanta. Will I have enough time to pick up a few bottles of alcohol in duty free to take to the Bahamas?
Yes, that should be plenty of time. All you have to do is take the Plane Train from your arrival concourse to concourse E or F where you depart.
Minors traveling alone making a connection to Canada, any recommendations?
What exactly is your question? Where are these minors coming from?
Are there still long waits at security?
It really depends on the time of day and whether it's the International Terminal or Domestic Terminal, but all checkpoints are open now.
Hi - we are flying with 2 kids from Cancun to London through Atlanta and our connection time is 1:25. Is that enough?
Cancun-Atlanta with Delta, Atlanta-London with Virgin.
Thanks
Yes, that should be just enough time if everything goes smoothly. You will have to go through US Immigration, claim your bags, go through US Customs, re-check your bags at the re-check desk, and go through security in Atlanta.
Are you sure? Virgin Atlantic say that the bags will go straight from plane to plane
Whoever told you that at Virgin doesn't know what they're talking about.
you answered a request of mine that international travelors could not stay in atlanta if they have another leg to their intinerary. You said that it is a different hall that they use after going through custums that does not allow exit to the outside of airport. BUT, my question is, how can this be so. If they use a seperate hall after customs, they still have to go to the terminal of their existing flight for the second leg. ext. atl to fll. it is at this time that they are in that terminal, can they just not leave the airport at that time. I am sure that their next flight domestic is not encapsuled in a tube. just wondering.
Actually it sort of is "encapsulated" as you say. If you are a connecting passenger you go to an immigration hall where once you clear Immigration and Customs, the only exit is a security checkpoint which leads right back into the train that takes you to the domestic flight concourses. You can't bring your checked bags through there so your only option is to re-check them.
