Hi I have to make B25 to F9 in 40 min ,layover to get international flight? Will this time is suffice ?

That is enough time if your first flight is on-time, but leaves very little to spare in case of a delay. The Plane Train connects all concourses inside security.

Preliminary gate assignments have me coming from Gate A18 to Gate B20 in 37 minutes. Am I screwed? Both flights are Delta.

No, that's definitely possible. The Plane Train connects those concourses inside security.

I'm planning a trip from Richmond Va to Pensacola, FL. I would have 41 minute layover, is that going to give me enough time? Both flights are with Delta

Yes, that is barely enough time and leaves no time to spare for delays though. The Plane Train connects all concourses inside security.

  • 50 min layover to International flight

I land in Atlanta at 10:07am and im flying out international to Guam at 10:57. Will I have to go get my bags and check them again? Also is that enough time to go through the international check in? Thank you!

If both of your flights are on Delta and your first flight is domestic you do not have to do anything special in Atlanta. All you have to do is go from your arrival gate to your departure gate. Also, Delta does not fly nonstop from Atlanta go Guam, so your flight is stopping somewhere else first.

Yes I have a layover in japan I was just saying that I'm flying international with that being my final destination. All my flight are delta so that's good, but does 50 min give me enough time to get to my next gate? Also when I am going to the international concourse in Atlanta will I have to be going through custom as or anything or will it just be another terminal

It is just another concourse. There are no special checks before getting on an international flight. The only difference is that you have to show your passport with your boarding pass when you board. 50 minutes is enough time if your first flight is on-time.

hey, im flying from montego bay ( jamaica) to manchester Uk. the is a connecting flight which stops in ATL for 1hr 48 mins. will this be enough time? this will be booked with Delta airlines. any help would be helpful. thanks

Yes, that should be enough time. YOu will arrive in the International Terminal, go through US Immigration, claim your bags, go through US Customs, then re-check your bags at the transfer desk, then go through security and to your departure gate which will be in the same terminal.

    thanks for your help

I have a flight on jan 29 which will be reaching Delta- ATL by 9:03PM, I have a connection flight to Delta- Dubai, in 45 min. Do you think the layover time is enough to catch international flight.

It is enough if the first flight is on-time. The Plane Train connects all concourses inside security. However, it obviously leaves very little time to spare in case of delays.

My young adult daughter is flying for the 1st time on her own and only has 48 minutes between connecting domestic flights. Her seat is in the middle of the plane. What are her quickest options to get off the plane and is there a way to find out ahead of time which gates she will need to go from and to?

forgot to add that she is flying Delta

Tell her to download the Delta app on her phone to store her flight details and provide her with gate information. If she doesn't have a smartphone that info is available at Delta.com

    Thank you

Hi, I will be flying from Brazil to Japan next week. I will have about 5 hours layover In ATL. Can I leave the airport meanwhile? Is it enough time to get some line heading downtown for a walk?

Yes, you can leave the airport, but 5 hours coming off of an international connection isn't really enough time to see anything.

I'm an entrepreneur, developing an interactive mobile puzzle hunt game. Our target audience is air travel passengers on a layover longer than 3 hours, who want to spend some time doing a cognitive challenging puzzle, while moving around the airport terminal, perhaps being required to meet others playing the game in order to release more clues needed to solve the puzzles. This will be played on your smart device and can be played as a race or at a non-competitive relaxed pace, to be determined after receiving feedback. The players will collect virtual inventory needed for the puzzle solutions and there will be a master puzzle that ultimately needs to be solved in order to earn a prize. I am looking for feedback while developing it. What do you think of this idea? Given that this is considered recreation or entertainment, how much would you be willing to pay for several hours of entertainment for your family or friends? Thank you!

Hi, I am landing in Atalanta and have 44 minutes to make a connecting flight to Turks & Caicos. Have never traveled through Atlanta and do not know how to get to International Terminal. Any suggestions on getting there quickly to avoid missing my flight. Do all international flights (Delta) leave from the in same location?

You don't have to go to the actual International Terminal. You will arrive in concourse T or A-D and depart from concourse E or F. All concourses are connected inside security by the Plane Train. You should have enough time if your first flight is on-time.

Hi, I plan to fly with Delta from Santo Domingo (SDQ) to Atlanta, arriving at 17:30. Then I have just 2 hour 2 min connection to catch my flight to London (19:32). Both flight are with Delta. Is it enough time? will i have to pass passport control and claim my luggage at Atlanta? Thank you!

Yes, upon arrival in Atlanta you will have to go through US Immigration, claim your bags, go through US Customs, re-check your baggage with Delta, then go through security. Then you can proceed to your departure gate to London. You should have enough time.

Hi, would a 2h50 layover at ATL be enough to go through customs (non resident visa but not WB) and then do the security check with a pet (will be requesting a private room) ? Delta says yes but you might have comments that say otherwise. Thank you for your comments.

Yes, that should be plenty of time.

I will be travelling from Dubai to Lima, Peru, with layover in Atlanta. Peruvian VISA is not required for me to travel to Peru. Do I need a US VISA even if I am just layover in ATL through Delta Air Lines, and will not go out in Atlanta or the US?

Yes, if your nationality requires a visa to visit the US you need a Transit Visa to transit the US. Everybody goes through US Immigration upon arrival in the US, even if they are transferring onto another country.

hi! I will travel from Paris to Mexico for a vacation, and they told me that I should have a long layover (12h) at Atlanta airport before I can continue my trip.. what I should do ? there is an internal hotel or I need to leave the airport to find one !! or I will stay on the chair for 12h after a flight of (10h 8m) from Paris to Atlanta ? thank you !

There are no hotels inside the airport but there are several very close by. If you want to stay in the Airport that is also doable. Here is a guide to staying overnight at ATL - http://www.sleepinginairports.net/usa/atlanta.htm

I can't leave the airport to find one by myself ? it will be very exhausting and disturbing to lay on the chairs or on the floor for 12h after 10h in the plane

can anyone reply to me please !! my flight will be soon and I'm very puzzled about how I will spend 12h there !!

Yes, of course you can leave the airport. However there is nothing you can walk to.
