Coming into ATL from Louisville, then onto San Juan. I will need assistance to get to my gate in ATL. Is 42 minutes cutting it too close?
What kind of assistance you do you need? Wheelchair service? If so contact your airline. 42 minutes is possible.
I am flying from Tri Cities to Atlanta and then on to London Heathrow, 68 mins enough time??
Yes, all you have to do is take the Plane Train from your arrival concourse to E or F where you depart.
A relative is flying from NC to NY with a layover in ATL for about two hours. Are we allowed in to see them or is it better for them to get from one plane to the other without a visit? I told them I thought we wouldn't be allowed without doing all the security checks etc and then having to get on the train to go find them too. We use ATL...we have never been able to go in, but have always had to stand at the stairs and wait for people coming in, but she is not leaving the airport, but going on another leg of her flight.
Your relative doesn't really have enough time to leave security and see you for any meaningful amount of time.
Thanks for your comment. I sort of thought this, but basically wanted to hear it from someone else. Thanks again.
I have a question for my mother. She will arriving into Atlanta from Munich and has a two hour layover. I know she has to go through customs, get her baggage, recheck her baggage, and then get to Domestic terminals. Is two hours enough time for her to do this, I am not familiar with the ATL airport.
Yes, after she re-checks her bags she will go through security and then take the Plane Train directly to her departure concourse. She doesn't have to actually go to the domestic terminal. 2 hours should be enough time.
In October I will be connecting in Atlanta from Minneapolis and heading to Chattanooga. As scheduled right now it is looking like a 39 minute layover. Will this be enough time if I hurry?
It's enough time if everything goes perfectly but pretty much leaves no time to spare if there are any delays.

I am travelling from London to Atlanta and then catching a Delta flight to Fayetteville. There is only a 1 hour 15 min layover, do you think this is enough time? I assume I will have to go through customs and collect my bag and check in again, with this in mind do you think I should get a later flight to Arkansas?
That is well below the recommended international to domestic connection time in Atlanta. I recommend at least 2 hours.
Hi- we will be arriving in ATL from Phoenix AZ at 2pm on Delta. We have a connecting flight to Athens leaving at 4:25pm on Lufthansa. Is that enough time and is it better to take the sky train or the shuttle? Also, will we have to claim our luggage in Atlanta and then re-check it at the international terminal, or will we be able to check it all the way through from Phoenix? Thank you!
The train does not go to the International Terminal outside security. Yes, if it's two separate reservations you will have to claim your bags from Delta in the domestic terminal, then take the shuttle to the International terminal, re-check it with Lufthansa, and go through security. This is a difficult but not impossible connection.
Im flying delta. Ihave a 38 minute delay coming from MYR to ATL then ATL ago TLH, is that enough time? Also I was not assigned a seat for the second flight should I be worried?
Yes, that should be enough time if the flight from Myrtle Beach is on-time. You will be assigned a seat at the gate.
Flying from Mexico arriving in ATL at 7:56 PM. Departing for CLE at 10 PM. Am I able to clear customs and make it to Terminal S - Gate B 10 in time?
You don't actually have to change terminals. You will arrive in Concourse E or F, go through US Immigration, claim your bags, go through US Customs, re-check your bags at the re-check desk, then take the Plane Train directly to your departure concourse. You should have enough time.
Hi, i'll fly from Dublin to Atlanta and I have only 1h 10 minutes before my flight Atlanta - Cancun. I don't have checked bags. Is it enough time? Thanks!
You will pre-clear US Immigration and Customs in Dublin. All you have to do in Atlanta is go from your arrival gate to your departure gate if both flights are on Delta. I assume "Can" means somewhere in Canada and not Guangzhou, China, correct?
