connecting Int'l to Domestic flightNov 5, 201220I'll be arriving from Amsterdam on june 20th at ATL and have a connecting flight to Orlando, both Delta flights. How much transfer time do I need?Debbieposted on Thu, Jun 14[ Reply ][ Like ]1. Delta uses domestic Concourses A, B & C, and international Concourses E & F with corresponding gates (i.e., gate A10). Your ticket and the overhead screens on arrival will indicate your connecting gate number. 2. As an international arrival you need to go through passport check, pick up your bags, go through customs clearance and re-check-in your bag before proceeding to your connecting gate. 3. Arriving from an international flight & transferring to a domestic flight: Follow signs to the 'Plane Train' serving all concourses in the center of their gate arrangements. Count on 40-50 mins for customs procedure; add another 20 minutes to arrive at your connecting gate, to be on the safe side.thjun12posted on Thu, Jun 14

Long layover-meeting friendsFeb 15, 201210Is there an area before going thru security that has quality dining. I am flying in and have a 4 hr. layover. would like to meet a friend for lunch. Is there somewhere we can eat at the airport. I know I will have to go thru screening again.NLSposted on Wed, Feb 15This is what I came up with at pre-security gate areas (of course it depends on at which terminal you need to eat): Charley's Steakery: C12; Philip's Seafood: D5; Sojouner Bar & Lounge: E29 & E9; Wolfgang Pick: A4, D31, B31; Sweet Water Brewhouse: B10; Houlihans: A25.MUCposted on Wed, Feb 15
