Hi,
My flight schedule is like this
1. Chicago to Atlanta (Domestic leg)
2. Atlanta to Heathrow
The ticket shows arrival at South terminal and departure from international terminal. There is a time gap of 3.5 hours approx between 2 flights.

So, 1) will my immigration be done at Chicago or Atlanta.
2) How will I go from South terminal to international terminal?
3)Do I have to take luggage or will it be automatically taken care of?
4) will the time be sufficient enough or will there be a time crunch?
Will 50 minutes be enough time to change planes qith 2 kids in tow. All Delta flights
Yes, that is enough time if the first flight is on-time.
Thanks, my flight leaves TPA at 835am but I have the option of a 730am flight that would leave me with plenty time in ATL. But since it will be a long day traveling to Maui with kids I was hoping the let them sleep in a extra hour.
knoxville to atl then onto amsterdam how long from gate to gate in atl
All you have to do is take the Plane Train from your arrival concourse to concourse E or F where you depart. 45-60 minutes is possible.
I arrive in ATL from LAX at 8am on Delta and depart about 10am from ATL to St. Maarten. Will my luggage be transferred since I checked them in LAX to St Maarten? And will I just need to take the plane train to the departing terminal after I arrive at ATL. Thank you
Yes, you don't have to do anything with your bags in Atlanta. Just go from your arrival gate to your departure gate on the Plane Train.
What concourse is Terminal 3 and is Terminal 3 the same as International Terminal?
Atlanta does not have a Terminal 3. You are likely reading your itinerary wrong. Where are you flying from and to and on what airlines?
Flying Delta.....I believe answered my question in a previous question. Thank you
We are flying Delta from Toronto Ontaio to Mexico City with a connection in Atlanta. Do we change terminals? We have 90 minutes!
Both flights will be on Concourse E or F (likely E). You will pre-clear US Immigration and customs in Toronto so all you have to do in Atlanta on the way to Mexico City is go from your arrival gate to your departure gate.
Thank you!
Hi, my relatives are traveling from Mumbai to Paris to Atlanta (both Air France). Eticket shows they will arrive at Terminal I. Connecting flight to Kansas City is from Terminal S. Can you please tell me how to go from Terminal I to S. Also, as port of entry is Atlanta, do they have to collect their baggage and do check in again for domestic flight (Delta airlines)? Layover at Atlanta is 2 and half hours. Will that be enough?
They will go through US Immigration, claim their bags, go through US Customs, re-check their bags at the re-check desk immediately after, go through security and then take the Plane Train directly to their departure concourse. They don't actually have to go to the S Terminal. They should have enough time.
I haven't flown International out of Atlanta in awhile. Im going Air Canada from ATL to Toronto and then onto Tel Aviv. Do we start out at the Atlanta International terminal?
Yes, the Air Canada check in desk is in the International Terminal in Atlanta.
Hi! I am flying into JFK from LHR and will obviously do customs and border control there. I am then getting a totally new flight on a seperate ticket from JFK to Atlanta, where I am then getting a connecting flight from Atlanta to Lexington bluegrass. I only have 30mins from when I land in Atlanta to get on my connecting flight. Is this achieveable? What security will I then have to go through when I arrive? (As I will have already done customs etc at JFK). All my flights are operated by Delta. Any info about what terminals I need to get to and from and security information would be much appreciated.
All you have to do in Atlanta is go from your arrival gate to your departure gate. All concourses are connected inside security by the Plane Train. It is possible, but risky.
I've booked a flight via Virgin Atlantic starting with an internal domestic flight with Delta which is scheduled to land at 6.33 pm. I then have to get across the airport to pick up a Virgin flight to the UK that departs at 7.25pm. My thoughts are that this doesn't give enough time to get across a busy airport given delays getting off the plane and to the international gate. Virgin won't put me on an earlier internal flight unless I pay£150! Not happy. Am I going to have enough time to make the connection?
That is enough time if the first flight is on-time. All you have to do is take the Plane Train from your arrival concourse to Concourse F.
