Hi, i fly into ATL by DL335 and have a connection by DL 82 to paris, do i need to take out and recheck luggage? i will have 2hrs 26min is that enough? i had a similar transit thru ATL 2 years back and Delta had checked my bags thru. thanks
Are you coming from Mexico City? If so yes, your bags should automatically transferred but you will have to go through US Immigration, customs, and security. you should have enough time.
yes I will be coming from mexico city, so I don't need to take out my baggage. thanks
I am traveling Delta airline form Cleveland with a connection in ATL I have about a hour between my flight arriving in ATL and my flight leaving ATL for PUJ. WIll I have to go through security again in ATL and will I have to have my bags checked again or will they transfer to my other plane.
You don't have to go through security again or do anything with your bags in Atlanta on your way to Punta Cana. Just take the Plane Train from your arrival concourse to Concourse E or F where you depart. You have enough time.
Booked vaca to Ireland for family. Ticket included a layover in Atlanta of 66 minutes before going on to Dublin. Per airline, layover just reduced to 53 min. Party includes my 75 year old parents. Is this doable???
Yes, that is enough time if the first flight is on-time. All you have to do is go from your arrival gate to your departure gate. The Plane Train connects all concourses inside security.
Forgot arrival gate in my first post/......We arrive in atlanta at 8:46 am gate A3 and depart for punta cana at 9:48 from E35 that gives us an hour to get to E35...one is that enough time. Will our bags be checked all the way through....And also Concourse E is correct to fly to Punta Cana I was concerend since appears concourse F is for international travel [ reply ]

If both flights are on the same reservation that is enough time and your bags will go straight through. Both E and F are used for international flights.
we are scheduled to arrive on a Virgin Atlantic flight from London to make a connecting Delta flight to New Orleans our lay over time is 2hrs 30mins is this likely to be enough time to make the connection thanks.
Yes, that should be enough time if everything goes smoothly.
i am traveling from manchester england to colorado how long will it take for me to get from international terminal to delta terminal i have no idea where to get the conecting flight but i only have 1 hour and 50 mins from getting of one and delta taking off will i have time to get throgh
You will arrive in concourse E or F, go through US Immigration, claim your bags, go through US Customs, re-check your bags at the re-check desk, go through security and take the Plane Train directly to your departure concourse. You have just enough time if everything goes smoothly.
thank you, i do fear immigration will be the longest time ever for my delay, do you know the terminal is for delta going to colorado
My daughter flew manchester to atlanta last monday with connecting flight to minneapolis an hour and half later. We were assured by the airline this could be done in 45 minutes. It took over 2 hours to get through immigration and my daughter missed her flight. Delta very unhelpful and told her to come back next day! She spent night in a hotel and flew on rerouted flight the next day.
Colorado has several airports. Which one? Also, Delta uses every concourse in Atlanta.
COLORADO SPRINGS MNPL
That flight appears to usually depart from Concourse E, which is close to where you arrive.
I am looking at a flight on Aug 18 from London to Washington via Atlanta. Traveller is UK resident, so I think he will have to go through immigration at Atlanta? Perhaps you can confirm? Flight from London due to arrive at 1.48pm, flight to Washington departs at 3.16pm. Is 1h 28m enough time to make the connecting flight? Traveller will have baggage to collect and take through customs. Is Atlanta a very busy airport? Thank you.
Atlanta's airport is one of the busiest in the United States. That is barely enough time to connect if his flight from London is on time.
Thank you, Andy. There is a later connection which would allow 2h 48m -between flights - surely long enough?
