On arrival at ATL at the new International Terminal, Concourse F, will go through customs clearance (CBP) at this concourse. Thereafter, follow signs to the 'Plane Train' serving all concourses in the center of their gate arrangements. At Concourse T take escalator/elevator to gate area with gates T9-15 and T8-1 on either side.

You will arrive at ATL at the new international J.Maynard Terminal, where you will go through customs clearance procedure and follow signs to the 'Plane Train' serving all Concourses in the center of their gate arrangement. Board the Plane Train and get off at Concourse C, which is divided into gates D30-57 & C22-C1. ATL claimed that baggage re-checkin is no longer necessary. Hurry!

On arrival at ATL, walk towards D16 and take the escalator down to the Plain Train (follow signs) which stops in the center of all of ATL's Concourses - at Concourse C it stops between gates C31 & C21.

Note that Atlanta's Domestic Concourses are T, A to D, with corresponding gates; The International Terminal uses Concourses E & F. At ATL, if arriving from a domestic flight & transferring to an international flight: (a) if arriving on a single ticket, you can proceed to your connecting gate by taking the underground Plane Train, stopping at the center of each Concourse. (b) if arriving on two tickets issued by non-participating airlines, you need to collect your bags and take them with you on the terminal connector shuttle located at the ground transport center; from there it takes 15 minutes to get to the International Terminal, where you have to check-in your bag again and then go through security and on to your gates. With baggage re-check you will have a very tight transfer schedule.

At ATL, note that Delta uses Concourses A through F (separate buildings) with corresponding gates. (E & F gates are international gates). All Concourses - domestic & international - are connected by the underground 'Plane Train' stopping at the center of each Concourse. Simply follow signs. You have enough time.

While Delta uses domestic Concourses A, B, & C with corresponding gates, the underground Plane Train stops on each Concourse at its center. You have enough time - simply follow the Plane Train signs.

Also, the Terminal Connector Shuttle located outside the Arrivals level takes you to the Domestic Terminal - a 12-minute ride. Note, however, that if Delta does not transfer your bags to US Airways (which are in Concourse D) - you would need to take your bags to the Domestic Terminal (taking instead the Terminal Connector Shuttle outside arrivals and taking 15 mins)and check them in at the US Airways counter, then take the Plane Train to Concourse D.

On arrival at ATL, and after going through International Arrivals customs clearance procedure - usually taking 35-50 mins - follow signs to the 'Plane Train' serving all concourses in the center of their gate arrangements. Note, however, that if Delta does not transfer your bags to US Airways (which are in Concourse D) - you would need to take your bags to the Domestic Terminal - taking the Terminal Connector Shuttle located outside the Arrivals level to the Domestic Terminal (a 12-minute ride) and check them in at the US Airways counter, then take the Plane Train to Concourse D.

You cannot 'check in' at International Terminal and depart from Domestic Terminal. Presuming you arrive from an international flight at the International Terminal, & need to transfer to the Domestic Terminal: After debarkation, passengers walk the corridor towards the escalators taking them to the Arrivals level, where they go through customs & Immigration, then proceed to the baggage claim area which has 7 carousels. (a) Connecting passengers recheck-in their bags by proceeding to the transit area past baggage claim and turning left to baggage recheck counters, then follow signs to Concourse F Plane Train station or pedestrian walkway connecting to Concourse C of the Domestic terminal.

Terminal layout at ATL: The Domestic Passenger Terminal at ATL houses the Ground Transportation Center, an Atrium, a Main Security Checkpoint leading to North & South Security checkpoints, and on either side of the Main Terminal the North & South Terminals; its Concourse T is attached to the Main terminal, with separate buildings for Concourses A through D, parallel to one another and arranged successively in distance from the main terminal. (Note that international Concourse E - the last of the five successive buildings - is now part of the new International Terminal.) 2. Connecting: All Concourses - domestic & international - are connected by the underground 'Plane Train' stopping at the center of each Concourse. 3. Arriving from a domestic flight & transferring to an international flight: (a) if arriving on a single ticket, you can proceed to your connecting gate. (b) if arriving on two or more tickets issued by non-participating airlines, you need to collect your bags and take them with you on the terminal connector shuttle located at the ground transport center; from there it takes 15 minutes to get to the International Terminal, where you have to check-in your bag again and then go through security and on to your gates. - your time should be sufficient.

Delta at ATL Airport uses Concourses A, B, C, D & E - with corresponding gates - look at your ticket and on arrival at overhead screens to find your departing flight number, gate & time. All concourses are onnected by the undergorund 'Plane Train' which stops at the center of each concourse - no need to go through security check. Presuming you have one ticket and one airline, 50 minutes will be plenty for transfer.
