1. As an international arrival, you need to go through passport check, retrieve checked bags, go through customs clearance and - if transferring to another flight - re-check-in bag (the tag should indicate layover and final destination Airport Codes). Until 'Spring 2012' when the International Terminal opens, Concourse E functions as international terminal. After customs clearance & re-check-in of baggage, take the APM train to your departure Concourse & corresponding gates (D, C, B, A, or T), and arrive there in minutes. Watch the overhead screens for your Tampa connecting flight and see which gate you have to be in, (i.e., A gates A1, B2, C3). Count on 30-45 mins for customs clearance, etc. and another 20 minutes to your gates (at most).

Time is sufficient. Concourses A through E and their corresponding gates (i.e., A18, B30) are connected by the APM train. - simply follow signs.

Delta uses A, B, C D & E gates (D & E being international gates) - depending on where they come fron/go to. Your ticket should read, i.e., E27, A18, D33, C42, etc.) You can also check on day of departure by visting atlanta-airport.com - to the left check first Arrivals and add DL (Delta) enter, then move down screen and sort by DL again. - then do the same for Departures.

1. AirTran departs from the North Terminal. You need to look at your ticket to see which gate you arrive at and depart from (The North terminal has gates T1-15, A1-34, B1-36, C1-57, D1-46 & E1-37. If you arrive at the South Terminal, you would have to transfer over to the North Terminal (flanked on either side of Main Terminal are North & South Terminals. The Automated People Mover train runs between the A through E concourses, in the center of their gates. 2. Today's arrivals/departures at ATL did no show either flight. However, keep in mind that for boarding there are six concourse buildings parallel to one another, with Concourse T being directly connected to the main terminal, and Concourses A, B, C, D & E being arranged successively in distance from the terminal. The center of each terminal has escalators to the train, with the gate areas on either side, and food & drink establishments, retail stores, services and lounges disbursed throughout each concourse. Concourse E, the farthest terminal from the Main Terminal. Look at your ticket which will show you the gate you arrive at (i.e., B-10 would be Concourse B, gate 10, etc.) you have plenty of time, as Toronto has U.S. customs clearance & you won't have to do that at ATL.

You need to take the APM train located between gates D1-16 & D21-37 to the Main terminal's east end which also serves the T concourse and its gates. You really need to sprint - train runs a continuous loop.

At LAX Airtran Flight 54 &56 depart at Terminal 3; At ATL all Airtran flights depart/arrive from the C gates (gates C1-22 & C30-57) of the North Terminal.

All Cocnourses are connected by an underground transportation Mall served by the APM train, which makes continuous rounds. Concourse E has gates E1-13, E14-18 in the center, and E19-37. An hour will suffice.

The APM train takes you from B gates to D gates, stopping in the center of the Concourses.

You can make the transfer from B to C gates by automated people mover. Unless you are an international arrival & need to go through passport & customs clearance and re-check-in your bags (taking up to 30 mins) you have enough time.

1. At DFW make sure your bags are properly labeled for ATL, AMS & NCE. Keep valuables with you onboard. Bags should arrive in Nice safely. 2. Familiarize yourself with the layout of the terminals so that you know where you arrive and where to and how you need to transfer. Bon Voyage!

I only see 8 & 9 thousand flight number listings for AirFrance - look at your ticket and see what flight number and which gates (i.e. A2, B3, C10) you arrive at. Both AirFrance & Delta are in Main Terminal South, but at different Concouses. Note that international arrivals need to get their checked bags first, go through customs clearance and re-check-in their bags (which should be tagged as through baggage at original departure airport). Then proceed to the people Mover (APM) which gets you to the concourse of your connecting flight.
