i am traveling from manchester england to colorado how long will it take for me to get from international terminal to delta terminal i have no idea where to get the conecting flight but i only have 1 hour and 50 mins from getting of one and delta taking off will i have time to get throgh
You will arrive in concourse E or F, go through US Immigration, claim your bags, go through US Customs, re-check your bags at the re-check desk, go through security and take the Plane Train directly to your departure concourse. You have just enough time if everything goes smoothly.
thank you, i do fear immigration will be the longest time ever for my delay, do you know the terminal is for delta going to colorado
My daughter flew manchester to atlanta last monday with connecting flight to minneapolis an hour and half later. We were assured by the airline this could be done in 45 minutes.
It took over 2 hours to get through immigration and my daughter missed her flight. Delta very unhelpful and told her to come back next day!
She spent night in a hotel and flew on rerouted flight the next day.
Colorado has several airports. Which one? Also, Delta uses every concourse in Atlanta.
COLORADO SPRINGS MNPL
That flight appears to usually depart from Concourse E, which is close to where you arrive.
I am looking at a flight on Aug 18 from London to Washington via Atlanta. Traveller is UK resident, so I think he will have to go through immigration at Atlanta? Perhaps you can confirm? Flight from London due to arrive at 1.48pm, flight to Washington departs at 3.16pm. Is 1h 28m enough time to make the connecting flight? Traveller will have baggage to collect and take through customs. Is Atlanta a very busy airport? Thank you.
Atlanta's airport is one of the busiest in the United States. That is barely enough time to connect if his flight from London is on time.
Thank you, Andy. There is a later connection which would allow 2h 48m -between flights - surely long enough?
Yes, 2 hrs 48 minutes would be much better.
From concourse b to make a connecting flight to Punta Cana . Arriv:10:04 from Richmond, Va. Depart 11:16 to to Punta Cana How long should it take.
How long would it take to get from concourse B to Concourse F.I have to make a 11;16AM connection from a 10:04 arrivial.
You have plenty of time. it shouldn't take more than 20 minutes to get between your gates using the Plane Train.
I have a connection flight from BHM to ATL w 56 mins. First time in ATL airport so no idea how it works. On the way back I have a layover from LAX to ATL w only 40 minutes, which is cutting it close. The flights are both domestic and flying delta. The planes are Boeing 757 and 737, so maybe the terminals will be close? Will I make it??
Your flights will likely be in concourses T, A, or B. The Plane Train connects all concourses inside security.
I have a flight from charlotte NC to Santo Domingo. My layover is in Atlanta for 52 minutes. Flight was booked through delta. Both flights are delta flights . Will I have enough time to make my connecting flight and will I have to pick up my checked bags and check them again?
No, you won't have to do anything with your bags on the way to Santo Domingo. Just go from your arrival concourse to your departure concourse on the Plane Train. You have enough time.
flying from Milw to Punta Cana thru Atlanta via Delta. 1 hr 25 min between connecting flights. Have never been to this airport. Please help with ideas on how to get from Terminal S upon landing to the international terminal and do we have enough time. On the way back we have a 4 hr layover, so not so concerned and will already know what to do... hopefully. Any advice appreciated.
You have plenty of time .Terminal ABCDEF.Most international flights leaves from Terminal F. It does not matter which Terminal you land in A-D.example d is closer to F andC is close to F . Let's assume worst case scenario that you landed on A Terminal just head straight to flytrain and take fly train to F and that should not take you more than 30 minutes.
Thanks Bmm. Feeling a little better about this now!
Im leaving from Atlanta on Delta to San Jose Costa Rica will I be going to the domestic or international terminal, and if I am leaving my car at the air port how far in advance should I get there before my flight?
You will go to the international terminal.
My flight Delta63 arrived on time from Rome. I have to take flight Delta2025 to Miami. Will I make it on time through immigration so I don't miss my flight??
You have barely enough time. If you miss your connection, Delta has almost hourly flights from Atlanta to Miami.
Hi, I will land in ATL South Terminal at 19.52 from Austin. I need to catch my connecting flight to Reagan Washington at 20.44. Both flights are using Delta, under the same reservation, but have different flight number. So I guess they'll be using different planes.
1. Can I make it in time for the connection?
2. Can I check-in my luggages in Austin and only check them out in Reagan Washington? Or do I need to check out in Atlanta and check them in again?
3. Will I get both boarding passes (Austin - Atlanta and Atlanta - Reagan Washington) when I check in in Austin?
4. Will both gates (arrival and departure) be near? I'm worried of missing my connection to Reagan Washington.
Thank you.
Yes, you can make the connection. You don't need to do anything with your bags in Atlanta. You will be issued both boarding passes when you check in in Austin. All gates in Atlanta are connected inside security by the Plane Train. You can make it.
I fly out of Toronto and have a connection to Santo Domingo in Atlanta. Do I go through US customs in Toronto or in Atlanta? Will my checked bags be sent through or do I have to pick them up in Atlanta?
You will pre-clear US Immigration and Customs in Toronto. All you have to do in Atlanta on your way to Santo Domingo is go from your arrival gate to your departure gate.
