I am coming from Columbus, Ohio to Atlanta then onto Jacksonville, Fl. A friend will be coming from Raleigh, NC to Atlanta and we meet in Atlanta and onto Jacksonville, Fl. She has never flew on any airline before, and I need to get to her and we go onto our terminal in Atlanta to catch the connecting flight to Jacksonville. We are both flying Southwest. My questions will be on the opposite ends of the airport when we land in Atlanta? (ex. will I have to catch the train to concourse C and pick her up then go to another concourse location?)
All Southwest flights are located near each other in Atlanta.
I'm flying from Pittsburgh to Mexico City and returning. Here're my questions 1) the connection in ATL on the outbound is only 45 mins. I flying w 3 little kids (2 on a stroller). Is that enough time to make it? 2) on the way back it's only 1hr 15 layover. Same question, would I make it? In this case I have to go through costumes.
I'm arriving from Mexico with 3 kids going home to Pittsburgh. The layover is only 1hr 15 mins, would that be enough? We're all citizens so hoping the line is a bit shorter but you never know.
On the outbound, we only have 45 mins - is that enough to make it?
Can't find the arrival/departure concourse on my reservation. Can you help?
You won't know the concourse for the Pittsburgh flight until the day of your flight. The Mexico flight will probably be concourse E. You have enough time on the way to Mexico. On the way back it will be pretty difficult, bordering on impossible.
I'm am arriving at ATL from Paris on Delta. Then flying American to DFW. How long does it take to clear customs get my bags and check in with American Airlines.
I would want at least 4 hours between flights since you will have to take the shuttle bus from the International Terminal to the domestic terminal to re-check your bags with American after clearing customs, then go through security in the domestic terminal.
I'm flying into Atlanta from San Francisco arriving in Terminal S at 17:05. (Delta flight) My connecting flight is from Terminal I at 19:10 to Manchester, UK. (Virgin Atlantic flight)
1) what will happen with my bags, will I have to claim these and move these between flights? 2) how do I get between the two terminals? 3)
All you have to do is go from your arrival gate to your departure gate, nothing with your bags. You don't even really have to change terminals. Just take the Plane Train from your arrival concourse to Concourse F where you depart.
Hi, My flight schedule is like this 1. Chicago to Atlanta (Domestic leg) 2. Atlanta to Heathrow The ticket shows arrival at South terminal and departure from international terminal. There is a time gap of 3.5 hours approx between 2 flights.
So, 1) will my immigration be done at Chicago or Atlanta. 2) How will I go from South terminal to international terminal? 3)Do I have to take luggage or will it be automatically taken care of? 4) will the time be sufficient enough or will there be a time crunch?
There is no US Customs when leaving the US. You don't actually have to change terminals in Atlanta. You just have to go from your arrival concourse to your departure concourse via the Plane Train. You have enough time. You don't have to do anything with your luggage.
Will 50 minutes be enough time to change planes qith 2 kids in tow. All Delta flights
Yes, that is enough time if the first flight is on-time.
Thanks, my flight leaves TPA at 835am but I have the option of a 730am flight that would leave me with plenty time in ATL. But since it will be a long day traveling to Maui with kids I was hoping the let them sleep in a extra hour.
I arrive in ATL from LAX at 8am on Delta and depart about 10am from ATL to St. Maarten. Will my luggage be transferred since I checked them in LAX to St Maarten? And will I just need to take the plane train to the departing terminal after I arrive at ATL. Thank you
Yes, you don't have to do anything with your bags in Atlanta. Just go from your arrival gate to your departure gate on the Plane Train.
