I am flying in from London to Atlanta international on British Air and have a 1hr 40min flight connection to Miami with Delta. I an not sure if this is enough time to clear immigration … luggage and transfer to other terminal before check in closes

No, that would be completely impossible with checked baggage. If you do carry-on only and check in for your Delta flight before you leave London, you might barely have enough time.

  • 38 minute layover

I am flying from orlando to Las Vegas with a family of 5. We have a 38 connection with delta. Will that be enough time for us? and luggage?

It's possible but obviously leaves no time to spare if the flight from Orlando is delayed.

Do you know what Delta policy is on missed connections? Do they charge you the current fare of the next flight if the price is higher? Or just bump you to the next flight regardless of the price?

They will just put you on the next available flight - no fee.

  • Flying to Paris, is my layover long enough?
    Apr 2, 2016
I am flying from Tampa to Paris with a 1 hr 20 min layover in Atlanta. I arrive in Atlanta at Terminal S at 7:25pm and depart for Paris at Terminal I at 8:45. My seat on that first leg is, unfortunately, near the back of the plane. Is 1hr, 20 minutes enough time?

Yes, that is enough time. All you have to do is go from your arrival gate to your departure gate. The Plane Train connects all concourses inside security.

  • International arrival with Delta connection to Orlando

I am arriving from London and have a connection to Orlando via Delta. Is two hours enough? I am by myself.

The connection flight is from the domestic terminal. What concourse is that?

Delta domestic flights can depart from concourse T, A, B, C, or D. You should have just enough time.

  • Delta Layover
    Mar 31, 2016
I am looking at a 52 min layover and plane change with Delta. I am flying with my toddler and just want to be sure that I will have enough time to make my connection. Is this possible and with both flights being Delta will I need to travel from one Concourse to another?

Yes, that should be enough time. Yes, it's more likely than not that you will have to change concourses.

I am coming to ATL on Southwest, from Punta Cana, then after changing plane going to Chicago. I have a 3 hour layover, is that enough time? I am a US citizen.

    I do have checked bags.

Yes, that should be enough time.

  • connection within terminal T
    Mar 28, 2016
Will I make a connection in terminal t between 2 different airlines in 1/2 hour?

T is a concourse. If the first flight is on-time and you have no checked bags it's possible. I personally wouldn't try it. Also, if one of your flights is on Delta there's no guarantee it will actually operate from T.

  • Connecting to international flight

I am flying from Ohio to Atlanta and then on to st. Lucia. Do I have to go through additional security when arriving at my flight in Atlanta. Is a 45min. Layover long enough. I am flying Delta and am unfamiliar etih the Atlanta airport and international flights.

There is no additional security. You just take the plane train from your arrival concourse to concourse E or F where you depart. You have just enough time if everything goes smoothly.

  • Time needed between domestic connections in Terminal S

will a make a connection between flights (37 min) in Termianl S?

Yes, if the first flight is on-time that is barely enough time. The Plane Train connects all concourses inside security.

  • From LH Intl to Southwest
    Mar 26, 2016
Green card holder - arriving into Atl on LH from FRA connecting to Southwest flight to MCO (Orlando), three questions: Is there a check in counter for Southwest after customs ? How do I get to Southwest C gates after I exit customs ? Min connection time will with separate tickets ?

No, Southwest does not have a check in counter in the International Terminal. After you clear customs you will have to take the shuttle bus to the S terminal and and then go to the Southwest desk there. You need at least 3 hours between flights.

I'm flying from Paris to Atlanta with Air France and I will arrive in Terminal I (Inernational), then I have a flight to Fort Lauderdale, Terminal South. I've never been here before, so I wanted to ask how to get from Terminal I to Terminal S?

You don't actually have to change terminals. You will arrive in the E/F concourse, go through US Immigration, claim your bags, go through US Customs, re-check your bags at the re-check desk, go through security and take the Plane Train directly to your departure concourse.

  • 43 Minute Layover
    Mar 25, 2016
i have a 43 minute layover in ATL connecting to Montego Bay Jamaica. Both flights are Delta. Will I make it?

If the first flight is domestic that is just enough time if it is on-time.

Hi, I have a flight from Münich to Caracas with a 2 hours stopover in ATL. Is that enought time to catch the flight to Caracas? Thanks!

That should be just enough time if everything goes smoothly. In Atlanta you will go through US Immigration, claim your bags, go through US Customs, re-check your bags at the re-check desk, go through security, and to your departure gate.

  • Enough time
    Mar 24, 2016
I'll be flying from Avoca to Reno connecting in Atlanta and Salt Lake City. I have a plenty of time on the way out but I'm a little worried having a 53 minute layover in Atlanta coming back...all Delta. Is this enough time?

Yes, that should be enough time. You just have to go from your arrival gate concourse to your departure concourse via the Plane Train in Atlanta.

  • International - Domestic
    Mar 23, 2016
I have a flight into ATL from Frankfurt and I purchased a separate ticket for a flight to ORD. Will 2 hrs be enough time to clear customs at the international terminal and make it to check in for the domestic flight?

If you have checked bags, no, that's probably not enough time. What airlines are you flying?
