I have 46 minutes to get my connecting flight to London.. already been through customs etc in fort myers is this enough time???
You will not go through Customs in Fort Myers. You will go through security there. There is no US Customs when leaving the US. In Atlanta all you have to do is go from your arrival gate to your departure gate on the Plane Train. You have enough time if the first flight is on-time.
Hi, I have never been on an airplane before. I already booked my ticket and now I am beginning to freak out about how short the layover is in ATL (40 minutes). The airline is KLM managed by Delta. Will I be able to make it to my international flight in time or should I cancel my ticket?
That is enough time if the flight from Fort Wayne is on-time. All you have to do in Atlanta is go from your arrival gate to your departure gate. However, it doesn't leave much time to spare if the flight from Fort Wayne is delayed.
Thank you, I really appreciate your response! I am so nervous to fly for the first time and try to navigate all the different airports. I am watching videos online trying to get a feel for ATL. Thank you for your time:-]
I will be flying Delta from San Antonio to Exuma with a connecting flight in Atlanta. It is only a 50 minute layover. Will that be enough time to make it through customs and make the flight?
There is no US Customs when leaving the US. All you have to do on your way to Exuma is take the Plane Train from your arrival concourse to your departure concourse and board your flight. You have enough time.
I am flying from DFW to ATL on United, where I will have 1hr 34m layover before catching and international flight with KLM from ATL to AMS. I imagine I will go through customs in ATL, rather than DFW. Will and hour and a half be enough time to get through customs in ATL and catch flight? Also, do I need to pick up my checked bag and re-check it in ATL or should it go directly to my destination?
United doesn't fly from DFW to ATL. Are you sure you aren't on American? There is no US Customs when leaving the US. If it's two separate reservations, you will have to claim your bags with your first airline, take a shuttle to the International Terminal, re-check your bags with Delta/KLM, and go through security. 1 hr 34 minutes is not enough time for that.
