I am from Argentina and I booked a flight from Buenos Aires to Edmonton with a connection of 1.57hs in Atlanta and a later connection of 2.23hs in Minneapolis. Will this be enough time in between each Airport? I am travelling in Delta business. Thanks!

Yes that should be enough time for both connections.

I am looking at a flight from Amsterdam to Norfolk via Atlanta, would a lay over of 1hr 45 mis be sufficient to collect bags go through immigration and re check in?

That is just enough time if everything goes smoothly.

Hmmm, wont take that chance, I'll take a different flight. Thanks.

I am flying to Atl on Southwest (domestic flt). In Atl I pick up a Delta flight to Paris. Can I go to my Delta gate or do I need to check in and pass security (again) in Atl--because it's a flight to Paris?

If you don't have checked bags you can go directly to your departure gate. Check in online before you leave on your Southwest domestic flight.

I have a flight from Toronto to Atlanta and we will arrive Terminal I and we are departing from Terminal S to go to Los Angeles. Are they the same Terminals?

You don't actually have to change Terminals. You will pre-clear US Immigration and Customs in Toronto. You will arrive in the E or F concourse. All you have to do in Atlanta is take the Plane Train from your arrival concourse to your departure concourse, like T, A, or B. It connects all concourses inside security.

We are flying in to Atlanta MAYNARD JACKSON INTL TERM from Toronto, Canada at 8:47 am and transfer to SOUTH TERMINAL for 9:40 am. Do we have to pickup our checked baggage or will it be transferred? Is this enough time? How do we get there, is it is the same building?

You will pre-clear US Immigration and Customs in Toronto. If both flights are on the same reservation you just have to go from your arrival gate to your departure gate. The Plane Train connects all concourses inside security. There is a good chance you will have to change concourses. You have enough time if your flight from Toronto is on-time.

I'm flying -April 11 , Boston - Atlanta 1601 arrives 1129 Atlanta to Knoxville , 835, departs 1211. No Checked bags, setting front of plane, but I walk very slowly, should I request wheel chair ?

Well, it looks like your flight to Atlanta got in quite a bit early, so hopefully you had enough time.

Indeed I did, and the departing flight was a bit late all was good

  • URGENT - 51 minutes connection time Boston - Atlanta - Santiago

Hello, I have the following ticket on Delta: 29APR BOSTON - ATLANTA DL 1467 18:25 21:27 29APR ATLANTA - SANTIAGO DL 147 22:18 08:50 Delta says connection is ok (51 minutes). Is it safe? Is it the same or similar terminals? Or should I get the earlier flight just in case? Thanks for the quicks heads-up, need to buy the ticket today!

You just have to go from your arrival gate to your departure gate in Atlanta. You will arrive in the T, A, B, or C concourse and depart from the E or F concourse. The Plane Train connects all concourses in Atlanta. You have enough time, although if you want to play it safe an earlier flight might not be a bad idea.

I am flying with Delta from Little Rock to Montego Bay with one stop I'm Atlanta. When I check my bags will I have to mess with them again at Atlanta or will then next time I see them I will be in Jamaica?

On your way to Jamaica you don't have to do anything with your bags in Atlanta.

I am flying from Atlanta to Dulles then to Barcelona. Baggage will be checked in Atlanta to Barcelona. Flight to Dulles from Atlanta is United 1214. Do I check in at Domestic or International terminal in Atlanta?t

The only United check in desk in ATL is on the North side of the Domestic Terminal, so that is where you check-in.

I am flying Amsterdam to Atlanta and arrive 20.20. My connecting Delta flight leaves 22.05. We do not have checked luggage. Will we have enough time?

These are 2 separate tickets by the way..

That should be enough time if everything goes smoothly. Immigration shouldn't be crowded that late in the evening and not having checked bags definitely helps.

  • Connecting flights UK- ATL- Cancun

Hello, I'm flying from the UK to Atlanta with Virgin Atlantic arriving Terminal 1 at 1510 then flying from Atlanta to Cancun departing T1 at 1700. I have checked baggage but because the second flight is also Virgin Atlantic, flown by Delta Air Lines, will this be enough time for me to get my second flight? Also are there any other considerations I need to take into account? For example I have applied for my ESTA on the Visa Waiver Programme but is there anything else? Thanks for any help!

There is no terminal 1. You will arrive in the E/F gates, go through US Immigration, claim your bags, go through US Customs, re-check your bags at the re-check desk, then go through security and to your departure gate, also in E or F. You don't need to do anything else. You should have just enough time.

Hello i arrive from Minneapolis at 6.27 pm and have flight to UK at 7.10 pm, i have checked baggage. Will i make it if on time? What will happen to my checked baggage if i dont make it?

That is enough time if your flight from MSP is on-time. All you have to do is take the plane train from your arrival gate to your departure gate. If you miss your connection your bags will either be waiting in London for you or will be put on the flight you are rebooked on.

  • how to connect flights

I'm flying Saturday 9 arriving in Atlanta on flight Delta 869 from San Antonio at 9:15 am, terminal S, and I need to connect to the flight United 5360 departing 10:00 am to Chicago on terminal N. How close are these terminals? and canI do the connection by walking or should be by transportation?

If you have checked bags you won't be able to make this. If you don't have checked bags you just take the plane train from your arrival concourse (likely A, B, or C) to concourse T where your United gate will depart. You also need to check in online for your United flight before you leave San Antonio. You have barely enough time if your flight from San Antonio is on-time.

    Thanks!!!

Where is Terminal S at the Atlanta airport? I don't see it on the map.

It is the Delta domestic check-in area. If you're only connecting in Atlanta you don't have to go there. Delta includes it on all their reservations even though on connections it's completely irrelevant.
