We fly from Richmond Va thru ATL to PV MEXICO. There is one hour between flights. is that enough time for my checked luggage to maike the flight? Thank you
Yes, that is enough time.
My first flight is Rome-ATL with Delta, I guess E9 or E10.I should pass through customs, visa, claim baggage, then re-check and boarding again with Delta to Fort Myers - I don't know the terminal for domestic to RSW. I have 1h58min time. Is ok?
After you clear customs and re-check your bags at the re-check desk you will take the plane train directly to your departure concourse (T, A, B, C, or D). You don't actually have to go to the domestic terminal. You have just enough time if the flight from Rome is on-time.
I am traveling from Orlando (MCO) to Montreal (YUL) with a layover in Atlanta (ATL) for only 58 mins. I would like to know if that would be enough time to change planes, as I am guessing that there is no US immigration or baggage claims to be done in ATL for my flight to YUL. Thanks!
We're arriving Nov 1on Delta from Panama City Beach, Fl and leaving 47 minutes later in Delta to Cancun. Do we have enough time to make the connection ?
Yes, it's possible if the first flight is on-time. You just have to take the plane train from your arrival concourse to concourse E or F where you depart.
I'm arriving on a Delta flight from Nassau then getting a connection to Manchester UK - which terminals do I have to travel between? are they both in the international area and how much time is required baring in mind we will have to collect baggage and clear security?
You will pre-clear US Immigration and Customs in Nassau, both flights should be in Concourse E or F. You do not have to claim your baggage or go through security in Atlanta. An hour is sufficient.
Thanks,
We are travelling in separate tickets so assume we will have to clear immigration and baggage
I have a connection coming from Pensacola on Novemer 15 at 5pm. My flight to Amsterdam leaves at 5:43pm Is this enough time?
Yes, that's enough time if the flight from Pensacola is on-time. The Plane Train connects all concourses inside security and all you have to do is go from your arrival gate to your departure gate.
I am ticketed to fly Delta from Bonaire to Atlanta, connecting to a KLM flight to Amsterdam. Will this be from the same terminal / concourse? Will I need to reclaim baggage?
You will arrive in Terminal E or F, go through US Immigration, claim your bags, go through US Customs, re-check your bags at the re-check desk, then go through security and to your departure gate.
Is the luggage collection "place" marked clearly / Where can I get the information?
What information? You will be forced to go through the baggage hall after you go through US Immigration and must pass through it to get to US Customs, so you really can't miss it. There will be several baggage carousels - there will be monitors showing which carousel your flight's bags will be on.
I have been told by KLM that I won't have to collect and recheck my baggage, it will be checked through from Bonaire to Amsterdam. Is this possible when everything else I have read says I must collect it.
Thank you ZAP. You gave all the information I needed.
Same thing here!
KLM told me the same.
I will arrive in Atlanta at 6 23 pm from Washington DC and then have a connecting flight to Johannesburg departing at 7 15 pm. I am concerned that this is not enough time to make this connection. Where do I need to clear immigration? In Atlanta or DC?
There is no US Immigration when leaving the US. All you have to do in Atlanta is take the Plane Train from your arrival concourse to concourse E or F where you depart. You have enough time if the flight from Washington is on-time.
Flying from MEX to ATL and connecting to DTW, do I have to cross immigration then collect my luggage and go to Domestic South Terminal to check-in again? or I collect my luggage until DTW?
In Atlanta you will arrive in Concourse E or F, go through US Immigration, claim your bags, go through US Customs, re-check your bags at the re-check desk, then go through security and take the plane train directly to your departure concourse. You do not have to go to the domestic terminal.
What If Fabian decided to stay in ATL?? Can one take the checked bag and go through security with it and on to outise the airport? Or do security people check the tags??
fly Delta to Atlanta from Nashville and only have 1 hour before Virgin connecting flight to Manchester. Worried about finding my way round Atlanta Airport
All you have to do is take the Plane Train from your arrival concourse to concourse E or F where you depart. You have enough time if the flight from Nashville is on-time.
