We have 1 hour between an arrival on Delta from DFW and a departure to London on Virgin Airlines. Is that enough time to make the connection? I understand there is no Customs on US departures. Thanks
Yes, that is enough time. All you have to do is take the Plane Train from your arrival concourse to concourse E or F where you depart and board your flight.
I'm traveling from Columbus,OH to the Dominican Republic, via Atlanta with Southwest. I have a little over an hour to change plans and go through customs in Atlanta is that enough time? I will have bags checked as well.
There is no US Customs when leaving the US. All you have to do in Atlanta on the way to Punta Cana is walk from your arrival gate to your departure gate.
Hi. I am landing at Gate D7 and have 30 minutes to get to T3. How hard will that be? How do I do this the fastest? THANKS!
Atlanta does not have a "Terminal 3". What airlines are you flying and where are you flying from and to?
From Charleston to Atlanta and then Atlanta to Midway. Gate for connecting flight was T3. Looks like they have a concourse T. I called Delta though and they moved my flights. Said I would never make it. Thanks for trying to help me though!
You have time but go straight to your gate; terminal T gate 3 (T3) is all the way to the front of the airport. Follow the signs to the train and to Terminal T (4 stops from terminal D).
I'm flying from San Antonio to Amsterdam via Atlanta. I have 1 hr 7 mins to get off SAT flight which arrives in Terminal S, get through customs etc and get to Terminal I. Is that enough?
You don't actually have to change terminals and there is no US Customs when leaving the US. All you have to do in Atlanta on your way to Amsterdam is take the plane train from your arrival concourse to concourse E or F where you depart and board your flight. You have enough time.
Hi, i'm interested if 2:16 is enough time to pass migration procedure. I land in terminal I (flight from Amsterdam) and have to go to Fort Myer from Terminal S. Is enought time to pick'up my baggage, go throuth migration and catch the next flight???
Yes, that is enough time. You don't actually have to change terminals. You will arrive in concourse E or F, go through US Immigration, claim your bags, go through US Customs, re-check your bags at the re-check desk, then go through security and take the plane train directly to your departure concourse.
I would like to find out if i have a flight from tampa on delta airlines to atlanta to johannesburg, south africa, will my bags get checked all the way to south africa or do i need to claim at baggage and get it rechecked? i am flying with delta airlines all the way through.
Yes, your bags will be checked all the way through. There is no US Customs when leaving the US. You just have to go from your arrival gate to your departure gate.
Hi, I am flying on a single Delta ticket from Mexico city to Atlanta, and then from Atlanta to Fort Lauderdale. Is 2.15 hrs enough time to make this connection? Thanks!
Yes, that should be just enough time if everything goes smoothly.
We are running late! How bad is security today?

We leave at 3:05 out of B4 and we won't get there til about 2! :(
This website is not a live tracker of security checkpoints.

Hi, I fly into ATL from MCO tonight (Delta) and fly out on KLM to AMS. I've 1hr 35mins. Is that likely to be enough time? Will I have to pick my luggage up as I did on the way in? Many thanks.
You will not have to claim your bags in Atlanta on your way to Amsterdam, there is no US Customs when leaving the US. All you have to do is go from your arrival gate to your departure gate using the Plane Train. You have enough time.
Thank you Zap
