we have a flight on 11/22 mco-atl 7:30PM arriving atl 9:04PM connecting to KLM at 10:25PM (1hour 21 minute) is it possible for us to make our connection being an international flight and at least 4 people are on that flight to Amsterdam does klm every hold the flight for a short time... thanks
You have plenty of time. All you have to do is take the Plane Train from your arrival concourse to concourse E or F where you depart and board your flight.
Zao thanks for the info.... put my mind at rest
Is southwest airlines on the blue side of Hartsfield airport?
Yes, they are on the N side.
We are connecting at ATL with 3 hours between flights. We have 3 small kids (age 1-4). I don't think we have time to go outside of the airport. Any suggestion what to do in the airport? I heard there is a play area for kid in ATL, but i can't find the location in the airport website. thx!
Arrive ATL with Delta from ECP with suitcases and then depart ATL with British Airways. Please let me know the steps in the transfer process? Delta and BA are not partners so will have to physically transfer suitcases. Thank you for any help you can provide.
You will take the Plane Train to the domestic S terminal, claim your bags, then take a shuttle bus to the international Terminal, re-check your bags with British Airways, then go through security and to your departure gate. I recommend at least 2.5 hours for this process.
Thank you very much for the information.
I can't believe I can't find anything on how to get between terminals. One maps shows them disconnected - take a bus? a train? Another map shows them connected - walk? Our daughter's domestic Delta flight says it arrives at terminal E (but everything I read says that's international.) Her connecting flight leaves from termainl B - and some posts say 90 mins is tight, but she only has 45 minutes! So are there walkways? Trams? Buses??? It shouldn't be so difficult to find information. Thanks for any help!!
E and B are concourses not terminals. The Plane Train connects all concourses inside security underground. 45 minutes is enough time for a domestic to domestic connection, but it doesn't leave much time to spare.
My apologies for mistyping - yes, I meant 'concourse' - I was trying to get information quickly for our daughter - I should have proofread the post. Thank you for explaining the Plane Train - I thought that was to connect the *terminals* so I didn't know the method of travel between concourses. As it turns out, she *did* make the connecting flight, more efficiently without my help anyway ; )
Delta has rescheduled our flight from PBI to Atlanta. We now have 59 minutes before our flight to Amsterdam departs. Can we make it?
Yes, all you have to do in Atlanta on the way to Amsterdam is take the Plane Train from your arrival concourse to concourse E or F where you depart and board your flight.
Hello, would 1 hr 30 minutes be enough for a connection between a flight from France (CDG) to Mexico (Monterrey)?, thanks!
It's technically a legal connection but realistically you need more like 2 hours.
I will be arriving terminal I coming in from Toronto... 1 hrs 15 mins to make my connecting flight to Jacksonville FL. I depart from domestic south .. can someone one please give me direction on what I need to do..?
You will pre-clear US Immigration and Customs in Toronto. All you have to do in Atlanta is go from your arrival gate to your departure gate. You could arrive or depart in concourse A, B, C, D, E, or F. The Plane Train connects all concourses inside security. You have enough time.
DL has a schedule change that reduces our connecting time returning from PLS to 90 minutes in ATL. Seems tight. Thoughts?
That's just enough time if everything goes perfectly. I would recommend more time but given the schedules of PLS and SAN flights, there may be no other options.

No you do not have to go through security. All you have to do is go from your arrival gate to your departure gate. the Plane Train connects all concourses inside security. You have enough time.
