I am coming from San Antonio Texas and arriving at 2:16 and the international flight I am taking will leave at 3:05. Will that give me enough time to catch my flight?

Yes, all you have to do is go from your arrival gate to your departure gate and the plane train connects all concourses inside security.

Hi, I will flying in from Indianapolis and connecting to an International flight to Narita. The connection time is 40 minutes. Will there be enough time? Hope to get some of your comments. Thank you very much.

It is possible but obviously leaves no time to spare if the flight from Indianapolis is delayed.

Thanks so much for the reply. The flight was booked under 1 ticket. I will be flying Delta. Would you know which Domestic Terminal Delta will fly into?

You could arrive in concourse A, B, C, or D.

  • 3 hour layover at Atlanta

I'm planning an flight from TRI (Tri Cities, TN) to HNL (Honolulu) with a layover at Atlanta. The first flight leaves at 6:25 AM arriving at Atlanta at 7:32 AM. Then I have about a three hour layover with the flight to Honolulu leaving at 10:50. All flights will be Delta so I'm assuming I won't have to pick up my check bags in Atlanta and they will be transferred to my second flight. So should three hours be enough time to reach my departure gate?

Yes, that is plenty of time. The Plane Train connects all concourses inside security.

Hi, I have a flight JFK-ATL-Knoxville (flying on DL). Do I have to exit customs/re-check my baggage upon arrival in ATL, or can I just proceed to my next boarding gate within the transit area?

New York, Georgia, and Tennessee are all conveniently located in the United States of America. There is no customs when traveling within the United States. All you have to do is go from your arrival gate to your departure gate. The Plane Train connects all concourses inside security.

Hi, I will be travelling from PAP-Haiti to YUL-Canada next month with a 2h30 min connection in Atlanta. I will fly with Delta. First, will I need to collect my checked luggages and pass the Security/custom again ? If yes, will I have enough time ? Cheers P.S I am Canadian if that makes any difference for the Custom

Yes, upon arrival in Atlanta you will go through US Immigration, claim your bags, go through US Customs, re-check your bags at the re-check desk, then go through security and to your departure gate. You have enough time.

I am looking at booking a delta flight from Chicago arriving in Atlanta then getting on another delta flight to New Orleans. It says the layover is 46 minutes is this enough time. There is another possible flight with a layover of 52 minutes would this be enough time?

46 minutes is enough time if the first flight is on-time. The Plane Train connects all concourses inside security.

  • CONNECTION FROM DOMESTIC TO INTERNATIONAL

If on time, I arrive from Myrtle Beach to Domestic terminal at 4:54pm. Flight to London departs at 5:45pm. Will this be enough time to get thru immigration before the gate closes. 50 minutes doesn't seem enough

There is no US Immigration when leaving the US. All you have to do is take the plane train from your arrival concourse to concourse E or F where you will depart and get on your plane. You have enough time.

Thanks ZAP. Does that mean that my only security check will be at Myrtle Beach ?Or will I need my exit passport stamp to be at ATL? I am using Delta and Virgin

I am scheduled to arrive ATL at 5:24pm and my connection departs concourse C at 7:10pm. Will there be enough time or should I switch to later flight if possible or will airline accommodate me if I miss the 7:10pm flight

That should be enough time. If there is a later flight with availability, you will be rebooked on it if you miss your connection.

Hello, I arrive in Atlanta at 4:43 pm and my next flight for Paris is at 5:50. Will I have enough time to get out of the plane and take the next one, knowing that I do not have any luggage to check-in ?

Where are you flying into Atlanta from? are all tickets on the same reservation?

I arrive from New Orleans. The reservation seem to be on the same tickets as the reservation for both travels were made through Air France.

All you have to do in Atlanta is go from your arrival gate to your departure gate. The Plane Train connects all concourses inside security. You have enough time.

Hi, We are travelling from Manchester England, to Memphis and have a connecting flight at Atlanta. We arrive at 15:10 and flight to Memphis departs at 17:30. Both flights are listed as Virgin Atlantic VS109 and VS5387, so will be on the same ticket. Does this leave us enough time to make the connecting flight as never done connecting flights before. Thanks in advance.

Yes that should be enough time.

I am looking at a flight from Amsterdam to Norfolk via Atlanta, would a lay over of 1hr 45 mis be sufficient to collect bags go through immigration and re check in?

That is just enough time if everything goes smoothly.

Hmmm, wont take that chance, I'll take a different flight. Thanks.

I am flying to Atl on Southwest (domestic flt). In Atl I pick up a Delta flight to Paris. Can I go to my Delta gate or do I need to check in and pass security (again) in Atl--because it's a flight to Paris?

If you don't have checked bags you can go directly to your departure gate. Check in online before you leave on your Southwest domestic flight.

I have a flight from Toronto to Atlanta and we will arrive Terminal I and we are departing from Terminal S to go to Los Angeles. Are they the same Terminals?

You don't actually have to change Terminals. You will pre-clear US Immigration and Customs in Toronto. You will arrive in the E or F concourse. All you have to do in Atlanta is take the Plane Train from your arrival concourse to your departure concourse, like T, A, or B. It connects all concourses inside security.
