Ok so I have a 43 minute layover in Altanta, GA airport and I am trying to go to Provedencials Turks and Caicos. I booked through one.beaches. I was wondering if that's is enough time. If so please tell me what to do. Thanks

What airline are you flying? Are both tickets on the same reservation?

I am flying delta. And he's both tickets are in the same reservation.

Then all you have to do is take the Plane Train from your arrival concourse to concourse E or F where you depart and board your flight, You should have enough time.

Thanks for all you help πŸ˜€πŸ˜€

Hey everyone. I'll have a Delta connection from Dusseldorf( Germany) to Quito (Ecuador) via Atlanta but I am little doubtful concerning the connection at ATL. Connection time will be 2hrs. How does the transfer work at ATL? Do I have to grab my luggage and pass through immigration and customs and drop by luggage again? In this case 2hrs seems rather short to me… Or is there an other procedure for those passengers connecting from an international to an other international flight? Thanks for any help!

Yes, in Atlanta you will have to go through US Immigration, claim your bags, go through US Customs, re-check your bags at the re-check desk, then go through security and to your departure gate. You do have enough time if everything goes smoothly.

Only thing there is Chik-fil-a & Varsity. Bummer walked from B because the line was too long.

My wife accompanying my 8 months baby are arriving from ROME to WASHINGTON DC connecting in ATLANTA. She has only 2 hours and 15 minutes to clear customs and immigration (as she is not a US resident) and baggage recheck to the last leg ATL-IAD. Is the connection time enough? Is there a fast track for connecting travelers in ATL airport? I've been there twice but I don't remember seeing a fast track.

Almost all travelers on her flight are connecting - thus defeating the purpose of a fast track (if there was one, which there isn't). She should have enough time if everything goes smoothly.

I will be arriving at ATL at 8:28 am from Chicago. I then have 1 hour and 7 minute layover to make my connecting flight to Honduras. Will this be enough time to make my flight? Do I have to reenter security or do anything? I'm worried I won't make my connecting international flight. All flights are through Delta.

All you have to do is take the plane train from your arrival concourse to concourse E or F where your flight will depart and board your flight. You have enough time. There is no US Customs when leaving the US.

I am flying from Manchester to Atlanta with virgin Atlantic connecting with delta to Orlando. Do I have to book in anywhere

I'm traveling to Orlando via Atlanta and it an 1 hour 5 minute stopover. Will I have enough time

And the same in the return flight

Yes, that is enough time. On your way to Orlando you will pre-clear US Immigration and Customs in Dublin and on the way back there is no US Customs when leaving the US. Both ways you just have to go from your arrival gate to your departure gate in Atlanta. The Plane Train connects all concourses inside security.

    great thanks

I booked a flight that I'm now worried about. A lot was going on and looking at tons of options so when the price hit right we bought it. Houston to ATL then a 40 min connection to make it to BRU. How long will they hold a flight if you make the first leg and they know you're in the terminal? I'd expect it long enough for the bags at least. I booked using sky scanner so not sure if that makes a difference. I'm flying on 7/20/16 departing Houston at 1:45pm and departing Atlanta at 5:40pm. Is there anyway to see what gates or terminals I'll be arriving and departing from in Atlanta?

They will not hold the flight. You will arrive in concourse A, B, or C and depart from concourse E or F (likely F). The Plane Train connects all concourses inside security. This is possible if the flight from Houston is on-time or preferably, early.

I am looking at a flight on Delta that gives only 55 minuets to connect to another Delta flight, both domestic flights, upstate NY to Atlanta, on to NC. Is this realistic?

Yes if if your first flight is on time or early. Just walk from Your Arrival gate to your departure gate. If everything is on the same reservation you should be fine.

Thank you! I have been through Atlanta twice before and needed the train, hoping that both gates are in easy walking distance..

You may need the train, but I'm not sure. Are you on Delta or Delta Express or both?

You will likely have to change concourses using the Plane Train. 55 Minutes should be enough time if the first flight is on-time.

I am looking at a Delta flight into ATL from Venice and that will have 1hr. 51 min. to make the connecting flight to MLB. I will be flying on a single Delta ticket and carrying on my bag. If I book this flight will I have enough time to get through customs & security to make the 5:35 PM connecting flight?

That should be just enough time if the flight from Venice is on-time.

  • layover 44 min enough time to catch connect flight in same term S

Arrive from Knox TYS Delta 3935 at ATL Terminal S with connect flight to Ft Walton (VPS) Delta 5281 Terminal S with 44 min layover. Is this enough time to catch connecting flight in same Terminal S or how will I know if I actually need to get off first plane

Almost assuredly you will have to change planes. All gates at ATL are connected inside security but Delta uses five different concourses for domestic flights. If you need to change concourses the Plane Train runs underground inside security between all of them. You have enough time if your first flight is on-time.

Hello. I have a flight PTY - ATL - MCO with connecting time in ATL of 2 hrs. Is this enough to do migration, etc (from international to national flight) thanks!

That should be just enough time if everything goes smoothly.

landing KLM from MCO 21.29 at south and changing to International for a flight 22.30 to Amsterdam? Will this be enough and do we need to recheck the luggage and do the security check again ? Whole travel is bought with KLM but operates by Delta in some lines. N

All you have to do in Atlanta is take the Plane Train from your arrival concourse to concourse E or F where you will depart. Your flight from Orlando will be operated by Delta. You don't have to do anything with your bags or go through security in Atlanta. You have enough time.

our flight lands in ATL from St. Louis at 9:46am and departs for Jamaica at 10:45am. That gives us 59 minutes to get to the International terminal . Will that be enough time?

Yes that is enough time. All you have to do in Atlanta is take the Plane Train from your arrival concourse to concourse E or F where you will depart.

I have 45 minutes to land on Delta and catch a flight on American, is this enough time from the south terminal to the north terminal- no luggage will be checked.

With no checked bags it's possible if you are already checked in online for your AA flight. You don't actually have to change terminals. You just take the plane train from your arrival concourse to concourse T or D where your AA flight will depart.

We are flying into Atlanta from Italy. Will an hour and a half layover time be enough to get to our connecting domestic flight to Greenville?

International flight is delta and domestic flight is through southwest.

No, that is not realistically enough time, especially with checked bags it would be completely impossible.

Thanks! That's what we figured but wanted a second opinion.
