Huntington Tri-State HTS Airport Overview

Huntington Tri-State Airport HTS is a primary commercial facility, serving a metropolitan area with a population of over 325,000 people in the tri-state areas of West Virginia, Ohio & Kentucky.
While the Airport opens in the morning about 2 hrs prior to first flight, it closes in the evening with the last flight of the day.

HTS Airport is located in the town of Kenova, in the southwest area of West Virginia, and borders on the states of Ohio (Ironton) and Kentucky (Ashland). It is just off 1-64 Exit 1 in Kenova ais only minutes from downtown Huntington (WV), Ashland (KY) & Ironton (OH).

With an estimated yearly passenger count of 200,000, Huntington Tri-State Airport is served by major airlines, offering direct flights airports on near the south-east coast, with worldwide connections.

NOTE:  Allegiant airline tickets are only available in the terminal one hour after their last departing flight of the day.

The passenger terminal at Huntington Tri-State Airport offers rental car & ticketing counters, Administration Offices, Airport Police /Lost & Found, a small business center (with a restaurant across from it), baggage claim area and an ATM machine.
Across from the Police station is the TSA office, security screening and access to the gate waiting area with a laptop station and gates 1, 2 & 3.
Skycaps are available outside and inside of the baggage claim area. 
Parking is available close to the terminal at 'affordable rates'.
