HTS Airport Overview
Tri-State Airport HTS is located in Huntington, close to the Ohio River in the southwest area of West Virginia, and bordering on Ohio and Kentucky. It is easily reachable by I-64 (Exit 1) or US 52. HTS is a primary commercial facility, serving a metropolitan area population of over 325,000 people. Allegiant, Delta and US Airways serve the airport with flights to Cincinnati and Charlotte hubs offering worldwide connections, and non-stop service to Orlando Sanford, Myrtle Beach, Ft. Lauderdale, and Tampa/St. Pete. Late August 2009 the Airport reported its highest monthly boarding in 20 years!
The passenger terminal offers a business center, a conference center, a restaurant and a gift shop. Parking is within easy walking distance of the terminal. Active passenger loading/unloading is allowed in front of the main terminal building; alternatively you may park in the main parking lot where the first 15 minutes are free. To pay your parking fee, cash, debit, and major credit cards are accepted. To get frm the Airport to your destination, you can rent a car, take a taxi or use your hotel's shuttle service.
