  The Charlottesville-Albemarle Airport (CHO), located 8 miles north of the City of Charlottesville, 1 mile west of Route 29 on Airport Road. is a non-hub, commercial service airport offering 50 daily non-stop flights to and from Charlotte, Philadelphia, New York/LaGuardia, Washington/Dulles, Cincinnati, Detroit, and Atlanta. CHO is served by Delta Connection, United Express (Atlantic Coast Airlines), Northwest Airlines, and US Airways Express (Piedmont Airlines). Convenient one-stop international and domestic destinations.
  
  CHO is nestled in a strong economic region with a corporate-heavy support base that is quickly turning it into small airport success. The strong f area tourism adds to the need of air service into the heart of Virginia. Since its start in 1955, the CHO Airport has grown into a 60,000 sq. ft. terminal with customer amenities like on-site rental cars, ground transportation, and food service. Daily and hourly parking lots are conveniently located.
