  Colorado Springs Airport COS, a 280,000 square foot facility with a 3-level, 16-gate terminal (opened in 1994), at an elevation of 6,200 feet, is situated practically in the center of the United States, and near I-25, is known to be one of the easiest, fastest and most stree-free airports to get in and out of. It serves over 2 million passengers with over 110 daily flights and 16 non-stops to US cities. Major airlines serve the airport offering varied routes to practically every American city and major cities worldwide. COS airport provides spectacular panoramic views to Pikes Peak and the Front Range of Colorado. It is a gateway to Colorado cities and tourist attractions, including 14 major ski areas. Travel time to Colorado City is 25 minutes, to Denver 70 minutes. NOTE: CURBSIDE CHECKIN only available 4:30 am - 5 pm.
