• SNA Airport Overview
  John Wayne Airport in Santa Ana , California is located 35 miles south of Los Angeles . It was renamed in 1979 to honor the legendary actor and Orange County resident, John Wayne. The airport is served by 11 commercial and three commuter airlines offering nearly 300 daily arrivals and departures with nonstop flights to 23 U.S. destinations. Opened in 1990, the sunny and spacious Thomas F. Riley Terminal has two levels with departures on the upper level and arrivals on the lower level. In the center of the lower level you will find an arresting nine-foot bronze statue of John Wayne dressed in Western regalia.

  The Thomas F. Riley Terminal offers a wide array of services to both leisure and business travelers. Eleven commercial airlines, three commuters, gift shops and food service providers ensure that the travelers’ needs are met. In addition, art displays provide visitors with a memorable cultural experience. There is a Terminal A and a Terminal B.

  Extra wide parking spaces are conveniently located in all parking lots. Terminal parking is accessible from the Departure Level (Upper Level) only.

  Elevators are located near the baggage claim escalators. Elevators for commuter flights are located at Gate 1A and Gate 14A.
