Phu Quoc and Con Dao are two famous islands in Vietnam and each one has its own beauty so it’s hard for tourists to choose one to travel.

Weather

If you are planning to travel to the sea, weather is the most important factor. The weather in Phu Quoc is cool but you shouldn’t visit Phu Quoc in May, June, October and November because it’s very sunny and rains heavily at that time.

The best time to travel to Phu Quoc is from December to February when the weather is cool and the sea is calm.

The best time to travel to Con Dao is from February to May when the weather is fine and the sky is clear.

Transportation

To reach Phu Quoc Island from Hanoi, you can travel by airplane with Vietnam Airlines, Jestar or Vietjet.

If you depart from Rach Gia or Ha Tien, you can go by waterway to Phu Quoc.

Con Dao has a small airport, if you want to fly to Con Dao, you can only depart from Tan Son Nhat airport.

Cost of services

Cost of services in Con Dao is more expensive than any destination of Vietnam, that is why tourism in Con Dao is not very developed.

About accommodation: there are only dozens of hotels and one resort in Con Dao such as Con Dao Camping, Con Dao resort or luxury resort like Six Senses Hideaway… Unlike Con Dao, Phu Quoc has a large number of options for you, from motel to luxury resort like Hat Tieu Beach Resort, Long Beach, Mango Bay…

About food: Traveling to Con Dao and Phu Quoc, you can have the chance to enjoy seafood. However, if you visit Phu Quoc, you will experience a unique cuisine at the night market in Dong Duong town.

Beautiful beaches

If Phu Quoc is attractive with stretching beaches with sandy roads, Con Dao is beautiful with tough islands. Depending on personal taste, you can choose a suitable destination to visit.

Vietnam Airlines, a world-class airline, owns the most modern and highest quality of Boeing and Airbus fleets. Being a member of the SkyTeam alliance, Vietnam Airlines honourably receives certificate from The IATA Operational Safety Audit (IOSA) and is certificated as a 4-star airline. Providing 3 different classes, Vietnam Airtravel is ready to take passengers to 21 international and domestic destinations.

I am travelling with a toddler can't stroll 4big bags by myself and handle a toddler by any chance can i claim my baggage at arrivals with my husband help who will be waiting for us at arrivals (arriving Atlanta)
If it is an international flight your husband will not be allowed in the international baggage claim.
Will my luggage go straight to Brisbane Or will I need to pick it up in Vancouver. We are flying with two children and lots of luggage so important to plan ahead
What airlines are you flying? Is it one reservation or two separate reservations?
One reservation with Air Canada from Edmonton to Brisbane
I will land at EWR from Brussels via United Airlines at 12:35 and take another UA at 14:59 for IAD Washington which is my final destination.will i need to re check my bags and all custom stuff at EWR prior flyng for IAD?i will land to Brussels from lomé(west africa)
Yes, in Newark you will go to through US Immigration, claim your bags, go through US Customs, re-check your bags at the re-chck desk then go through security and to your departure gate.
Since there is so much to do at Incheon International Airport, how early can you check-in baggage so you don’t have to walk around with it?
It depends on your airline. If you're flying Korean or Asiana you can probably check it pretty early. If you're flying a foreign airline, you may have to wait until a few hours before your flight.
Can I take a skateboard as a carry on or will it have to be under baggage?
