International flights from Brussels arrive in Terminal 5. You will go through immigration there, then re-check your bags, then take the ATS to Terminal 2 and go through security. What airline are you flying from Terminal 2?

The flight info says terminal 1 arriving with Brussel airlines operated by United. Leaving from terminal 2 with United but operated by Gojet to jacksonville.

Your first flight will arrive in Terminal 5 - all international flights (except precleared ones from Canada, the Bahamas, and Ireland) arrive in Terminal 5. Your GoJet flight to Jacksonville could depart from Terminal 1 or Terminal 2. After you land if you have a mobile phone you can check the flight status for your United flight - concourses B and C are in T1 while concourses E and F are in T2. Whatever flight info you're looking at is incorrect.

What airport are you connecting at?

Assuming you use United for both legs of your flights, you simply walk over to your next gate. United is in Terminal 2, at Concourse D, gates D1-9. If arriving by AirTran or Southwest (a Terminal 1) at Raleigh-Durham Airport, you would need to take the purple shuttle bus #3, to T2, then go through security check at T2 before proceeding to your A gate - but an hour will do.

Your first flight will likely arrive in C/D and your second flight will likely depart from A. You can take the mobile lounge between them.

At LGA US Airways uses Terminal C (gates C15-44) - your boarding pass & the overhead screens in the terminal will indicate gate number). At CLT there is only one passenger terminal with Concourses A - E. On arrival go down to the baggage claim and meet your party near the information counter.

It sounds like you are on united. If so, your first flight will arrive in A or C and if it arrives in A, you need to take the shuttle to C. Your second flight will probably depart from C. You should have enough time. Things usually run really on-time and often early that early in the morning.

Your bags will be checked through to LAX in Charlotte. You won't have to touch them until you get to LAX.

Check with your airline first (if you use different airlines) if they will transfer your bags to your next leg of your journey. If not, you would need, after customs clearance, take your bags & check them in with your connecting carrier. International arrivals are processed in Terminal A-West. Thereafter, you go through security check. Terminals A & B are connected by post-security walkway, and the B gates are numbered B1-16. You should be able to make it in the given time frame, even with baggage check-in (which would involve going through security check thereafter).

Both of your flights are likely on US Airways. In which case you will collect your bags in immigration and re-check them with US Airways when you clear customs. That should be enough time. Note that your Vegas flight could leave from a number of different concourses/terminals used by US Airways mainline flights.

Can't tell you when your terminal opens as you don't mention which Airport you depart from. In general, you should arrive an hour prior to scheduled departure if checking in bag. Contact your Airport.

What country are a citizen of? Are you talking about a U.S. Visa or a British visa? How long will you be staying in either country?

I take it you arrive at ORD O'Hare (not MDW Midway), in which case you arrive via AA at Terminal 3 (T3). Your departure terminal via Aer Lingus is in T5. The ATS shuttle train takes you from T3 to T5 (yes, T5 is the next stop), and runs every few mins; however you need to go through security check before proceeding to your gate. (T5 has M gates which wrap around the concessions court: to the left (gates M12-M21) and to the right (gates M7-M1), and extends northward in the center to gates M8-M11 (prepare yourself for long walks from check-in to gates). One hour is tight, but if incoming flight is not delayed you should be able to make it in time.

I think 40m is not enough but it is depends on airport service.
