  • Concourse C to Concourse D

I have a connection flight and have to get from concourse C (Southwest) to concourse D (allegiant Airlines) with only 1 hour to spare. Is that enough time?

You did not mention the Airport. Suppose you arrive at Houston IAH, you would take the above-ground TerminaLink train which connects the terminals inside security - in which case an hour would suffice.

For itemslost in the gate area or onboard the plane, he needs to contact his Airline's lost & found department

  • Connecting flight from Delta to American

I will arrive in Delta from Italy and connect to American Airline for a domestic flight. I only have 1hour and 35 minutes to do my connection. After I clear customs, where do I need to go to drop my bag? How far is the South Terminal from the North Terminal? Do I need to take a train? Thanks

    1. North & South Terminals are part of the main terminal. 2. International Arrivals at Atlanta Airport are presently processed at Concourse E, where they go through passport check, retrieve checked bags, go through customs clearance and re-check-in bag (the tag should indicate layover and final destination Airport Codes). Note, however, that you may not be able to re-check-in your bag if you travel on more than one ticket issued by non-participating airlines, in which case you need to take your bag to your connecting terminal and check it in there. 3. To your connecting concourse, take the APM train with or w/out bags to your departure concourse, which takes just minutes, departing & arriving at post-security. Look at your ticket to see what gate you depart from (i.e., A28, B19, C, D, etc.) The letter preceding the number is the Concourse you need to get to.

arriving from glasgow gla via newark ewr to terminal c houston iah, have 1hr 40mins to get to terminal b.Do I have enough time? This is on july 12th 2012.

    1. At Newark you need to go through passport control, pick up your bags, go through customs clearance and re-check-in your bags (takes 30-45 mins). 2. At IAH, arriving at TC and departing at TB - you will take the above-ground TerminaLink train which runs inside security. TB has 4 gateways (on each corner of a square: gates 60-66, 68-75, 76-83 & 84-88. Look at your ticket. P.S.: Make absolutely sure that your baggage is properly tagged and that your airlines make courtesy transfers to get your bags to the next airport.

Hello, my G.F. flew this morning from Chicago, IL in Virgin America. Her destination is Bangkok, Thailand. She has to get a connecting flight from LA. According to VIrgin America , she has to check in her luggage again in LA. Now we do not have any, clue where she has to do to get her luggage, and which terminal she has to go, since she is flying outside U.S. And does she has to pay money again, though she already paid to Virgin America for her luggage?

  • Cell Phone Lot?

We are meeting someone at Newark Airport, coming from a distance. Is there a cell phone lot?

No. Use either 1. Short-term parking: In Parking Garage and in lots A & B and the C across from the terminals and the Parking Garage. 2. Daily parking: In Parking Garage, and lot P3 & garage P4, reached by AirTrain.

  • Connecting at LAX... enough time?
    Nov 7, 2011

We're arriving from Toronto, Canada at 10.53am (AirCanada T2) and leaving to La Paz, Mexico at 12.47pm (Alaskan/Horizon T3) - is this enough time? We should really account for a potential delay of 30 mins due to deicing out of TO. I assume we have to grab our bags and recheck them?

Even with delay you can make it, as Toronto offers U.S. pre-clearance and you need not go through customs check again. Connecting from T2 to T3 (with gates 30-39). However, T2 & T3 are not connected and you need to exit T3, to take the LAX bus Route A on lower arrival level island in front of each terminal, under sign 'LAX shuttle airline connection', which runs every 12-15 mins. and takes a few minutes to the next stop T3. Your bags should be properly tagged at Toronto, so that they will automatically be transferred to LaPaz. (However, make sure that AirCanada offers such service.)

  • Connection time - arr from Canada to Mex

We arrive on AC (T2) at 10:53am and transfer onto a Alaskan (Horizon) flight (T3) at 12:47pm. Is this enough time? Because i'ts a Jan flight we typically plan for 30 min delay out of Toronto due to deicing. Will our bags be transferred at LAX or do we need to pick them up and recheck them?

  • CONCERN ABOUT MISSING CONNECTION
    Nov 5, 2011

We are going from NC to AK via Denver airport. We have received a note to contact the airline due to concern of missing our connection. We are taking Delta from OAJ to ATL then DEN. At that point we switch to Alaska Airlines. We are due to arrive in Denver at 2:50 and fly out on Alaska at 5:20. Approximately how long would it take to change from one terminal to another? Terminal A to C, I believe?

    1. You arrive via Delta at DEN at Concourse C and need to connect with Alaska in Concourse A (which has gates A24-39 at west & A40-68 at east). 2. The underground AGTS train will take you to Concourse A, two stops - 10 minutes. The Denver connection obviously gives you plenty of time!
