We've had numerous flight changes for our flight to Ireland. The latest gives us 1 hour to change airlines in Chicago. We arrivefrom St. Louis on AA at 2:50 pm and depart at 3:50 pm on Aer Linguis. Is this a realistic amount of time? Will we have to get our luggage fro AA or will they transfer it to Aer Linguis? Thanks!!

I take it you arrive at ORD O'Hare (not MDW Midway), in which case you arrive via AA at Terminal 3 (T3). Your departure terminal via Aer Lingus is in T5. The ATS shuttle train takes you from T3 to T5 (yes, T5 is the next stop), and runs every few mins; however you need to go through security check before proceeding to your gate. (T5 has M gates which wrap around the concessions court: to the left (gates M12-M21) and to the right (gates M7-M1), and extends northward in the center to gates M8-M11 (prepare yourself for long walks from check-in to gates). One hour is tight, but if incoming flight is not delayed you should be able to make it in time.

How long to get from T-c gate C30 to T-e Gate E14? Only have 35 minutes & elderly. What is the best way to get there fast.

Which Airport are you arriving at? 35 mins for transfer seems to be quite tight. I suggest you open www.ifly.com - enter your airport on top, then click on 'Terminal Map' under QUICK LINKS and scroll down to the detailed text.

is 40 minutes enough time to connect flights in the same terminal..terminal 3?

Which Airport? Open www.ifly.com & enter your Airport; then click on 'Terminal Map' under QUICK LINKS and scroll down to the detailed text.

I think 40m is not enough but it is depends on airport service.

Our party of 4 is scheduled to arrive in Terminal 1 on Jan 30 at 8:23 a.m. and then depart at 9:11 am for Puerto Vallarta (PVR). Do you know which area this flight might depart from, and the easiest route from our arrival to our next gate?

As you don't indicate the Airport name, I suggest you open www.ifly.com and add on top the Airport name or code; then click on 'Terminal Map' under QUICK LINKS, scroll down to the detailed text. Your ticket should indicate terminal, concourse, or gates.

I have a 42 of can of Almond Roca and a Panettone both are sealed can I bring them with me as carry on and will security permit these food items to go through? Thank you

So long as it is not water, the odorless, colourless, inert, harmless substance essential to all life, then it is probably fine.

Why not but i think this will go as a luggage.

how are pets transported on airlines

Can I carry through security some pies and pudding on my trip over thanksgiving

    The answer is NO!

Really it depends on the mood of the security guy and whether he has any common sense. In general they worry more about liquids than solids. A water bottle is required to be chucked on the off chance that the laws of physics have spontaneously changed, but you could probably get away with stuffing a loaf of bread full of c4 so long as it still looks like bread. Really just depends who you get on the day.

I am flying into SeaTac from Sac on Southwest and then catching an Alaska flight to Winnatchee. Will Southwest transfer my luggage for me over to Alaska if I check a bag?

    Contact Southwest Airlines at 800-435-9792.

No, Southwest does not transfer bags to ANY airline other than themselves.

Yes you can but after security check, if they allow it.

Vist to london from wa state via alaska air line then international flight BA london. how to get there by underground airport train?

Presuming you arrive at SeaTac Airport in Seattle (SEA): (a) if arriving on a domestic flight or from a Canadian Airport with U.S. customs clearance) you can proceed to your departing flight; U.S. international arrivals need need to go through customs clearance procedure first. Alasa uses Concourses C & D with corresponding gates, and Satellite North with N gates; British Airways uses Satellite South. I strongly suggest you open www.ifly.com/sea and click on "Terminal Map" under QUICK LINKS, then scroll down to the text and read about procedures, terminals & transfers.
