Hi there, have a business trip coming up - but just wondering if i would have enough time to make my international flight - Details are arriving from MIA to Dallas , connecting with my international flight to Hong Kong . Is one hour enough to do this?? Many Thanks
Yes, that is enough time. All you have to do is go from your arrival gate to your departure gate. The Skylink train connects all gates and terminals inside security.
Arriving from Minneapolis to Seattle at 9:45 pm. Connecting flight to Victoria at 10:30. Is 45 min layover enough time to make connecting flight? Would baggage have to be picked up and cleared through immigration/customs or would it go automatically to connecting flight?
If both flights are on the same reservation then that is enough time. All you have to do is go from your arrival gate to your departure gate. There is no US Immigration or Customs when leaving the US.
Hello, I am arriving on Delta from PTY to ATL at 1pm and my connecting flight is on Delta ATL to IAD at 2:50pm - i do have checked luggage and its in same reservation. Do i have enough time to clear immigration and collect luggage drop/off and pass thru security for my next flight to IAD? - Flight Date Saturday September 10th. Pleas advise! Thank you!
Yes, that should be just about enough time if everything goes smoothly.
Hi, we are flying in to Newark tomorrow for a connecting flight. We arrive in terminal A at 12:09. Our next flight takes off from C at 12:59. Will we have enough time to make the connection without having to run? About how long will it take? Thank you.
If you are flying into EWR on United Express then they run a shuttle bus inside security to Terminal C and you have just enough time if everything goes smoothly.
My son (a US citizen) is leaving travelling from Vancouver BC to Tokyo via San Francisco. When he arrives in San Francisco, will he have to claim his bag and then clear customs and then recheck his bag before his flight to Tokyo?
No, he will pre-clear US Immigration and Customs in Vancouver. If both flights are on the same reservation then all he has to do is go from his arrival gate to his departure gate.
Thanks ZAP...appreciate your response. I'll relay the information.
We are arriving to MIA from Barbados tomorrow at 10:36, our connecting flight leaves to Denver at 12:15. All on AA. Is there enough time to get though customs? 1:40 mins?
That's barely enough time if everything goes perfectly. I think it's more likely than not that you'll miss your connection. It's early enough that they can probably still get you to Denver that day, likely through DFW.
Hi there, looking for a bit of advice about a connecting flight. I'm British (have a UK passport) and travelling from BWI airport to IAH, Texas on 19 July. I booked with American Airlines and they only had a connecting flight available going through CLT. My flight from BWI lands at 1:25pm and my flight to IAH leaves at 2:59pm. My question is whether this is enought time for me to connect to my flight given I am UK citizen so presumably need to go through passport control? I am not checking any bags in (just carry on luggage) so presumably that helps? Thank you in advance for any replies!
Yes, that is plenty of time. You do NOT have to go through passport control. There is no passport control when traveling within the United States. All you have to do in Charlotte is walk from your arrival gate to your departure gate. Does an American have to show a passport when taking the train from London to Bristol? It's the same thing in the US flying from Maryland to Texas.
