I want to fly to panama city PTY from california is it better from LAx or San Diego how do I find the best price?

San Diego has no Panama City listing. At LAX - flights are available to Panama City in Florida and Panama City Marcos Gelabert Airport in Panama, C.A.

we arrive 6:00 pm and depart 7:40 pm for Frankfurt. Can we get out of security and back in - baby grandchild will just be born and we want to see him

    1. You did not state the Airport you arrive at - if you come from an international flight you will have to count on 35-45 mins for customs clearance procedure; time connecting to our departure flight to Frankfurt depends on whether you need to change Terminals and take transfer transport. Non-ticket-holders are not permitted in the post-security areas; your party can only go as far as the security checkpoint.

We're arriving at 8:30am next Wednesday at Newark on a Colgan(CO4893) from IAD. We're transferring to Continental flight 1050 to Cancun leaving at 9:15am. Carryon luggage only. Are we asking for a missed flight? Our travel agent says it's the standard xfer time at Newark. But...US departure procedures?

hi, i am arriving at ewr at 5:41 am at terminal c and connecting to toronto at 6:58 at terminal c. are these terminals on the same floor? will i have enough time to reach my connecting flight? will my baggage be sent thru to toronto?

    1. EWR has three terminals, A, B & C. You arrive by Continental Airlines, which uses terminal C exclusively. You did not state your connecting airline; if it is the same, you just transfer to another gate. If you need to get to another terminal, you take the AirTrain by following its signs. Make sure your bags have all three Airport Codes on their tags for automatic transfer. Here is the gate & airline layout of EWR: Terminal A, or TA (Air Canada, American, American Eagle, Continental Express, Frontier, JetBlue, Southwest, United, United Express, US Airways, WestJet & some Continental affiliates like Comutair)) has at gate area A1 gates A10-18; at gate area A2 gates A20-28; at gate area A3 gates A30-39. TB (all international flight, except Continental), has at gate area B1 gates B40-47, at gate area B2 gates 51-57, at gate area B3 gates B60-68. TC (Continental, Continental Connection) has gate area C1 arranged in a Y-shape with gates C70-75, C80-88 & C90-99 on each side; gate area C2 has gates C101A-115A-B (15 gates); gate area C3 has gates C12-130.

My daughter is flying to Korea. Will I be able to wait with her before she departs? She will be leaving the country for one year.

You can only bring her to the security checkpoint. Find a quiet place where you two can say your good byes - she will be just fine!

Hi I'm traveling tomorrow, from YUL toBOG I have one stop at ATL The flight is schedule to arrive at 3:57pm at Gate C45 and next flight depart at 4:50pm from gate E31.How long will take me to go from C45 to E31. Any advise. First time at ATL Thanks

    1. Make sure at Montreal Airport to go through their U.S. pre-clearance - saving you time at ATL. Also when checking in your bags there ask if your airline will transfer bags at ATL to other airline's flight - not all airlines do: bags need tags for YUL, ATL & BOG. On arrival at ATL, an automated people mover (APM) will take you to your connecting concourse - at Concourse C the APM is between gates C1-22 & C30-57; at Concourse E between E14-18. Your time is adequate.

I am traveling out of the country for the first time in April- Texas to Japan. I only have a week so I want to maximize my time and stay until the last possible day but that would require that I return to Texas at midnight and would have to work a full week before I am off again. I am wondering personal opinions if a young (24 yr old) person can handle 7 hours of sleep for a week after international travel. Any and all tips/comments are very much appreciated!!! THANK YOU!!!

On your return, you will be getting some sleep onboard the plane before touching down in Texas. Make sure you don't drink any alcoholic beverage and eat light prior to boarding. Also keep in mind that as an international arrival on your return to Texas you need to go through customs clearance - count on 30-45 mins for this procedure - before you can exit the terminal. A 24-yr old person can handle anything - trust me! Hope you have a grand time.

I am flying out of Seatac to Puerto Vallarta on a 9am flight and was wondering what time Duty Free opened and if I will be able to shop before my flight departs.

    1. International passengers may purchase all merchandise sold in our stores. Domestic passengers may purchase anything except liquor and tobacco. 2. Location: Concourse D opens 5am, & North Satellite opens 5:50am & South Satellite opens at 6am (visit http://hudsongroup.com.

This might be a silly question but i'm traveling to Heathrow london airport from Little rock, and I have two connecting flights one at chicago then Canada, do I have to go through the whole customs and picking up my bags everytime?!

It's a perfectly legitimate question - assuming you will arrive at YYZ (Toronto Airport): Upon arrival at Toronto Airport, you go through Canadian Customs and check the illuminated display panels for your assigned carousel number, then proceed to the baggage claim area where you find baggage trolleys. Your airline representative can, at your request, also call for a porter. Before proceeding to the public hall, present your customs declaration card to CBSA border services, where you might be directed for further manual inspection or search, if deemed necessary. At Heathrow, you will need to go again through their immigragion procedure - unless Toronto has a pre-clearance for Heathrow arrivals.

Still awaiting the announcement about the newest airline to come to PHF. Hope it allows for smooth transitions to southern route connections and forieng travel. Manily Mexico. I use this service annually alone with family and right now the ticket prices are higher than ever. You guys are about $100.00 ,more expensive than ORF for the same destinations. But elimination of the tunnel traffic makes it worth while. Hop eyou announce soon.

  • Where do I collect my dog from

Our dog will be travelling with us on an international flight into Charles de Gaulle airport. (she will be in the hold, not the cabin) We cannot seem to get any information on where she will be taken to once she disembarks for clearance. Where do we collect her? Can anyone help please?

This is the Airport site relating to pets: http://www.aeroportsdeparis.fr/ADP/en-GB/Passagers/Procedure-practical-information/Need-help/passenger-travelling-with-pet/ - You need to find out from your Airline if your dog will be put onto the baggage conveyor belt or deposited in the baggage claim office.

How to know if my son is already catch his flight? i looked up the flight status and its already departed. I'm not sure if he made it.

Watch the overhead screens in the Airport for his arrival & at what gate. You can meet him in the arrivals area in front of the information counter.

Landing Atlanta from Detroit at terminal south going to New Bern NC...Do you know what gate I am goin to? I have only 38 minutes to my Delta connecting flight.

Delta is also in the South Terminal. You need to look at your ticket for gate number. Alternatively, look at the flight number you depart from to New Bern and check it on arrival with the overhead fight screen, then follow signs.
