Leaving for CANADASep 14, 201110I am taking my 2 nieces ages 4 and 12 on a Cruise with NCL.We fly from LAX to Vancouver. I have been told 4 different stories and we leave in 4 DAYS. My nieces do not have passports but they have original birth certificates and a notarized consent letter from parents. Canada says they can get on the boat with the documents I have..but will WESTJET let them on the plane??? I need answers fast!!! I only have 4 days. I called WESTJET and they directed me to there website which isn't clear at all.bucnbeeposted on Tue, Sep 13[ Reply ][ Like ]This is what I found at the WestJet site: "....For domestic travel, you may use a birth certificate, birth record, birth registry document or health care card (with birth date) for your children. We'll also accept photocopies. For international travel, your children must meet the entrance requirements at customs. ....." You may want to call them at 1-800-581-9499 to clarify.HH39posted on Wed, Sep 14

arriving from SpainSep 12, 201110I am arriving on an AA flight from Barcelona. I have to transfer to a flight to ORD.(also AA) I have approximately 1 hour and 55 minutes between flights. Will I have enough time to clear customs and recheck my luggage and make it to the planecandbgirposted on Sun, Sep 11You will arrive at Terminal 5, where you go through passport control, get your bag, go through customs clearance, and re-check-in your bag (tag showing all 3 Airports. Between Terminals 5 & 3 runs (on the ATS level) the ATS train, which runs every few minutes. Look at your ticket to see what Concourse & gate you depart from: Terminal 3 (with Concourses G, H, K & L) serves all domestic flights and all international departures of American; The Upper Level leads to Concourse L to the left with 11 gates, the Y-shaped gateway to Concourses K with gates K1-K20 and Concourse H with gates H3-H18 in the center, and Concourse G with gates G1A-G21 to the left - with gates G13-G117 on the Concourse's lower levelHH39posted on Mon, Sep 12

seatingDec 16, 201122i'm a first time flyer and have heard and seen lots of things about flying - but is it a good idea to get a window seat over the wings? i was told to watch the wings and that they are the most stable part of a plane, especially during turbulance, is it true or just a myth?kedav7posted on Sat, Sep 32 people like this post [ Like ]I'm not quite sure, but a friend of mine who has flown dozens of times has also stated that area of the plane is the most stable, and that she tries to get a seat there because of feeling sick while on planes. Not certain if that helps or not.MLTposted on Fri, Sep 9Remember planes are safer than cars. Many more people die in cars statistically than in planes. All pilots of commercial aircraft are seasoned professionals. But if you are nervous, I would recommend not looking out the window or at the wings, just look at the safety professionals known as flight attendants. 1 hr 40min connect at ORD to Beijing ?Sep 1, 201110I will fly from Newark to ORD, connect time 1 hour and 40 minutes, then to Beijing, can I make it? any tips? which gate I will arrive? which gate I will check to Beijing? Do i need pick up my bag, re check? SOS!!!PL888posted on Thu, Sep 1First look at your ticket to see which terminal at ORD you arrive at. (Terminals 1, 2, 3 or 5) Terminals 1-3 are connected to each other in a semi-circle, and all terminals have a shuttle train running every few minutes between International and domestic terminals. If your ticket says you arrive at gates B8, or C19, for example, that's Terminal 1; Terminal 2 has gates E & F, T3 has L, K, H & G gates and T5 has M gates. Only international arrivals need to go through customs clearance and re-check-in bags if they continue their journey.HH39posted on Thu, Sep 1
