How Long to Change Flights/TerminalsFeb 24, 201210I am arriving from FLL on Continental and have a 90 minute layover until my international flight to FCO on Continental. Will both flights be at the same terminal? If not, how far and what time does it take? Do I have to go through security again?washavaposted on Thu, Feb 23[ Reply ][ Like ]

Shuttle from San Antonio to McallenFeb 24, 201210Hi do you have some shuttle from SAT to Mcallen for two pasangers. will you please send me the sheduleSAT to MCALLposted on Thu, Feb 23These are connections into the City; the Information desk in the Arrivals area should be able to give you more information how to connect from there. 1. The GO Airport Shuttle (210-281-9900) is the Airport's only shared-ride hotel shuttle service, departing the Airport from 7am-1:30am daily, every 15 minutes. 2. VIA Metropolitan Transit (1-866-362-2020) to downtown stops on the Lower Roadway (Arrivals Level of Terminals A & B, across the marked crosswalk to outer curb. Route 5 runs daily to downtown within half an hour and costs about $1.10. VIA's streetcar service takes over from that point. For more ground transportation info call 210-207-3411.frfeb12posted on Fri, Feb 24

item for carry onFeb 23, 201200I have purchased 2 boxes of the Tylenol pads that you can attach to your skin for pain relief. There is no gel in them, as they are "air activated" They are for pain in my sciatic nerve in my hip & leg. Are these okay to carry on & if so, should the be taken out of the boxes and placed in the plastic ziploc bags? I will be flying to Spain.tschnieberposted on Thu, Feb 23

Have 2-3 hours at JFK need place cafeFeb 23, 201210HI , We arrive on an international delta flight into JFK and transfer to a domestic delta flight 4 hours later. We would like to exit airport to meet a friend. Is there a place near the airport to sit and have a meal in or near the airport.KSposted on Thu, Feb 231. As an international arrival you arrive at Terminal 4 where you need to go through passport check, retrieve checked bags, go through customs clearance and - if transferring to another flight - re-check-in bag - count on 35-50 mins for this procedure. The Airtrain for inter-terminal connections has its station in T4 inside the arrivals level, center, and at your connecting Terminal 3 outside the domestic arrivals. 2. The Airtrain also connects to further transportation outside of the Airport; however, knowing the dimensions of JFK I strongly advise you to stay on-airport ground. There is the on-Airport Ramada Plaza Hotel Tel: 718-995-9000) which may have a restaurant - or you may want to choose from one of the following restaurants within Terminal 4: at Mezzanine is KFC, Wok&Roll; in the main lobby are: 5iveSteak, Piquillo, Sam Adams, Au Bon Pain, Sbarro Cafe, & McDonalds.thfeb12posted on Thu, Feb 23

delta connection timesFeb 23, 201210I have a 55minute layover time at jfk. Arrriving domestic from orlando on delta then flight to london again with delta. Travelling with young family, I've been informed we should make it by agent but any comments as I feel a little concernedwhich1066posted on Thu, Feb 23You will arrive at JFK from Orlando at Terminal 3 and will depart from Terminal 4, which is the international terminal. On arrival at T3, proceed to the arrivals level; from there, you can either walk over to Terminal 4, or take the Airtrain at T3 outside domestic arrivals, arriving at T4 inside the arrivals level, at center. Either way, you need to go through security check again. Look at your ticket (and the overhead screens) for your departing flight and gate number: T4 has gates A2-7 and B20-30. Just follow signs. IMPORTANT: When you check in your bags at Orlando, make sure they are properly tagged for all three airport Codes, so that your bags will arrive safely in London. Unless your domestic flight is very late, you make it just fine timewise.thfeb12posted on Thu, Feb 23

Terminal 4 to Terminal 3 in 1hr 15m?Feb 23, 201210I'm flying into LAX from AUS via American Airlines. I have a 1hr 15m layover in LAX before I fly to SEA via Alaskan Airlines. American is in Term 4 and Alaskan is in Term 3, so I'll need to move between them. I have two questions: 1. Is this possible within 1hr and 15mins? 2. How long will security at Term 3 take between 9:00 and 9:30am? Thanks!HFposted on Thu, Feb 231. While a recent post complained that he waited over an hour at security check, I am confident that by 9am (past rush hour) your wait time will be no more than 30-45 mins. As the bus runs counter-clockwise, you are better off walking from T4, passing TBIT (Bradley terminal) to T3 - that should take no more than 7 mins. (On arrival, check the overhead screen for your Alaska flight - note time & gate). T3 has gates 1-18.thfeb12posted on Thu, Feb 23

From Alaska (domestic) to Delta (inter)Feb 23, 201210My trip is going to Thailand; I travel from Oregon (PDX) to connect flight of Delta to Japan (NRT). I have layover time in seattle (SEA) only 50 min. Please let me know clearly how I go from Alaska airline to connect flight of Delta (inter). For example, what terminal?, concourse?, bus or train number?, south loop or north loop? etc. In addition, do I need to be security checked again? thanks,Catposted on Wed, Feb 221. When checking in at PDX make sure that your bags will have on their tags all three Airport codes. Also ask if Alaska transfers bags to Delta flight (not all airlines do, in which case you would have to claim your bags at SEA and recheck them in with Delta). 2. You arrive via Alaska at SEA either at Satellite North (gates N1-16 or Concourse D (gates D1-12) - you need to look at your ticket. Delta will depart from Satellite South, which has gates S1-13. All concourses are connected at post-security, enabling passengers to freely move around without having to leave the secured area. Follow signs. To connect between the N gates and the S gates, take the train from South or North Satellite to the Main Terminal, then cross over and take the train on the opposite side, which is the shuttle that runs at post-security between the North & South stations.thfeb12posted on Thu, Feb 23

T4 to T3 in 1hr 15m?Feb 23, 201210I'm flying into LAX via American (T4) and flying out via Alaskan (T3). I've got a 1hr 15m layover and I won't be checking any baggage. Since it looks like I need to pass through security again, how much time should I expect to spend moving from T4 to T3? For what it's worth, I'm seated near the front of the plane on my arrival flight.HFposted on Wed, Feb 22It is best to walk between T4, (pass the Bradley Terminal) to T3 - it should take you no more than 7 mins. (The bus goes counter-clockwise). Yes, you need to go through security again. If at morning rush hr prior to 9am, lines can, at times, take up to an hour, in general it's much faster.thfeb12posted on Thu, Feb 23

manchester,uk to quincy,ilFeb 23, 201210We will fly into chicago and then st.louis and then take cape air to Quincy,il do we go to another terminal or what to catch flight also do we have to pick up our bags before going onto quincyhotgrandmaofposted on Wed, Feb 22At Manchester make sure your bags will have all 3 airport codes on the tag. Not sure whether your airline to Chicago will transfer your bags to Cape Air (find out - otherwise you need to collect your bags at St. Louis Lambert Airport and check them in with Cape Air). 2. As an international arrival at ORD O'Hare Airport, you need to go through passport check, retrieve checked bags, go through customs clearance and - if transferring to another flight - re-check-in bag - count on at least 35-45 mins for this. Thereafter, proceed up one level to the Airport Transit System where you can easily connect to either terminals 1, 2 or 3 for domestic flights. A free shuttle train running every few minutes can take you there. The International Terminal is Terminal 5. Open www.ifly.com/ord and click on "Terminal Map" - under the map is detailed description of all terminals & how to connect. Look at your ticket for gate numbers. This site will also give you transfer advice. For St. Louis Airport details, open www.ifly.com/stlthfeb12posted on Thu, Feb 23

Connection time between Concourse A & DFeb 22, 201210I'm considering booking a domestic flight with Virgin America that arrives at concourse A at 7:30pm then taking a flight out with Alaska Air that leaves at 8:20pm from Concourse D (it will be a on a Saturday night). Will I have enough time to connect if I have bags to collect and transfer to Alaska Air?MHposted on Wed, Feb 22

Lack of wifiFeb 22, 201200At my first experience at Houston airport I was shocked at the lack of free, airport-wide wifi access like at the Seattle airport. People huddled around the United Club entrance was a disgrace. I didn't realize Houston International was really a third-world airport.khposted on Wed, Feb 22
