Both flights would be with Delta I assume? If so it's possible to make the connection, but be aware that JFK is pretty delay prone. However there is an airside shuttle between Terminal 2 and Terminal 4 so you can make the connection without having to go back through security. So, assuming your first flight is on-time, it's possible, barely.

If your first flight is on time that should be fine.

At IAD Dulles Airport, the Underground Aerotrain runs in a continuous loop from the main terminal's post-security area to the center of the midfield concourses A/B (A gates) and C/D (C gates), takes minutes, but presently does not serve the D gates; A gates are connected by walkway to the main terminal, and the shuttle bus to the D gates is located on the Main Terminal's lower level (to the right of the passenger walkway to A& B gates). I don't consider 37 mins adequate time for anyone, let alone an elderly person. Presuming you mean LAX Airport, 30 mins is definitely not enough time if you need to change terminals, where you need to go through security check at connecting terminal: While T6 & T7 are connected by underground tunnel, T8 is a short walkway from T7. Your baggage will be checked through to your final destination. If both of your Frontier flights are domestic you don't have to do anything with your baggage and won't touch it until your final destination. If your first Frontier flight is international, then you will have to claim your baggage in immigration in Denver then re-check it with Frontier once you exit customs.

At MIA, the 3 terminals surround the parking area in a semi-circle. The North Terminal has D gates, the Cenetr Terminal E, F & G gates. The Skyride Connector, a moving walkway on level 3, connects all terminals. The MIA Airport lounge Club America is on level 3 of Concourse F, post-security.

It depends where you're coming from and where you're connecting.

As an international arrival in the US you need to go through passport check, pick up your bags, go through customs clearance, and (if continuing your flight) re-check-in your bag where indicated. That can take up between 40 & 60 mins; if you need to change terminals for your connecting flight, you need time to get there and go through security check before proceeding to your gate - could be another hour. Coming from Flight from Frankfurt to Toronto to Minneapolis I have 1hour and 6 minutes if flight from Frankfurt is on time

I would budget at least 3 hours. You'll have to clear Canadian immigration upon arrival, then go to the US departures area, then clear US Immigration and security procedures all in Toronto. The advantage being that your arrival into Minneapolis will be like a normal domestic flight in the US.

Where are you coming from and going to?

Starting next month, a new airline will be flying to IPL called SeaPort Airlines. You have to book your flights with them on a separate reservation and their flights to IPL will go from San Diego instead of Los Angeles. Alternatively, if you don't want to take SeaPort, the San Diego airport is a 193 km drive from Imperial and the Palm Springs airport is a 160 km drive from Imperial. http://seaportair.com/

You could also fly to Mexicali, Mexico, which is just across the border from Imperial, but I don't recommend that unless you've been to Mexico a few times and speak Spanish.

Your guest needs to contact his first airline to arrange for transfer. If that is too late, he needs to advise his flight attendant of his upcoming need. You generally aren't able to check a bag through when you purchase two separate reservations. You will clear US immigration in Montreal or Toronto, not JFK. If you purchase the tickets on two separate reservations, you will have to claim your baggage at the regular domestic baggage claim in JFK and re-check it with Turkish. I'd want at least 2 hours to do that, preferably 2.5.

Also note that Air Canada arrives at Terminal 7 of JFK Airport, while Turkish Airlines uses Terminal 1. Look for the sign for the 'Airline Terminals Train' which makes its continuous loop around the terminals; however it stops in the unsecured areas, meaning you need, after checking your bag in with Turkish, to go through security check at Terminal 1 before proceeding to your connecting gate.

Bars usually aren't open that early, but some might be open for breakfast and might be able to serve you a beer, but I wouldn't count on it.
