At IAD, the Underground Aerotrain runs in a continuous loop from the main terminal's post-security area to the center of the midfield concourses A/B and C/D, takes minutes, but presently does not serve the D gates; it can be used for the following gates: A1-32, B35-79, and C1-30. A shuttle bus runs from the D gates to the Main Terminal or to the A gates - between gates D15-21 & D9-11 and arrives at gate A6 of Midfield Concourse A/B. I am not sure what you trying to say. If you want to fly from Chicago to Seattle, first note that Chicago has two airports: ORD & MDW.
