making my connection at ORDMar 5, 201210I'm arriving from YVR to ORD @5:17 pm and leaving ORD for MUC@6:06pm all with United Airlines. Is this enough time to make the connection?danielposted on Sun, Mar 4[ Reply ][ Like ]I take it that Regina Airport has U.S. customs clearance - saving you time on arrival at ORD. Terminal 2 is your arrivals terminal & Terminal 1 your departure terminal, both are connected at their gate area (your ticket should indicate arrival & departure concourses & gates) Note that T1 has B & C Concourses/ gates, while T2 has E & F Concourses/ gates. You have enough time.momar12posted on Mon, Mar 5

missing jewelry after extra secur searchMar 5, 201210Upon arriving home Wed. night, I was missing a small bag with about $500 worth of jewelry in it. This may have been stolen or misplaced during the extra long security search on one of my carry on bags. Does anyone have a suggestion for trying to get this back? Whom would I contact?jpeposted on Sun, Mar 4Each Airport has its own rules regarding lost & found items. Larger airports also furnish TSA security checkpoint contacts. You need to state the name of the Airport before I can help you. In general any valuables belong into the carry-on bag - only one bag is allowed, which must fit under seat or overhead compartment.momar12posted on Mon, Mar 5

Enough Time to Connect to Next Flight?Mar 4, 201210My family and I will be arriving at JFK at 6:55am (Terminal 5) and need to catch another flight at 8:20 am at Terminal 3. We plan to check in luggage. Is this enough time to get our luggage, get to terminal 3, and then check in again? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.islandgalposted on Sun, Mar 4Unless Your arriving JetBlue Airline does not automatically transfer your bags to your Delta connection, you need not retrieve your bags at T5. (When checking in at your original departure Airport, make sure that bags are properly tagged for all 3 Airports - also make sure that JetBlue forwards your bags to Delta flight.) Getting from T5 to T3: All terminals are served by free AirTrain, running on average every 8 mins; at T5 it stops near gate 25 (or gate 1 opposite of it); at T3 it stops outside of domestic arrivals.sumar12posted on Sun, Mar 4

laggage chargeMar 4, 201210When I will come with American Airlines from LONDON to ORD and I will flight to cleveland IN THE SAME day and airlines company I must or no charge for laggage. to the domestic flight to CLEVELANDnagyposted on Sat, Mar 31. As an international arrival at ORD, you need to go through passport check, retrieve checked bags, go through customs clearance and - if transferring to another flight - re-check-in bag (the tag should indicate layover and final destination Airport Codes). This takes 35-45 mins. At London Airport, make sure your bags have all 3 airport codes on their tags. You will pay for your bags in London only since you use the same Airline. You arrive at Terminal 5 & depart from Terminal 3. After exiting the Federal Inspection and luggage re-check areas, proceed up one level to the Airport Transit System where you can easily connect to either terminals 1, 2 or 3 for domestic flights. The free ATS shuttle train, running every few minutes, can take you there.sumar12posted on Sun, Mar 4

|International travellerMar 3, 201210I am travelling from Bahrain to Amsterdam to detroit to Orlando. Bahrain to detroit is by KLm amd then detroit to orlando is by delta. Will my luggage go directly to orlando or do i have to collect my baggage and re-check in for orlando. How long will that take.Anandposted on Sat, Mar 31. Detroit is your international arrival - KLM arrives at the North Terminal's Concourse D. On arrival you go through passport check, retrieve checked bags, go through customs clearance and - if transferring to another flight - re-check-in bag (the tag should indicate layover and final destination Airport Codes). 2. You need to contact KLM whether they will transfer your bags at Detroit Metropolitan Airport (not all airlines do - in which case you would need to take your bag and check it with Delta, which is in the McNamara Terminal (Concourse A). 3. A shuttle bus runs every 10 minutes between the McNamara and the North Terminals, taking 7 minutes. Concourse A of McNamara has 1.5 miles of moving walkways, but also uses the Express Tram serving the South station near gate A11, the Terminal station in the center near the water feature, and the North station near gate A67.samar12posted on Sat, Mar 3

Need a Meetiing Place @ Madrid AirportMar 3, 201210I am flying into Madrid to Terminal 1 and need to meet up with someone who is flying into Terminal 4S. Where is the best place to meet? Neither of us have ever been to Madrid Airport so don't know any landmarks. Appreciate recommendations.ZINposted on Fri, Mar 21. While terminals 1, 2 & 3 are next to each other, Terminal 4, as well as satellite terminal 4S are separate. (The large new Terminal 4, consists a main terminal T4 and a satellite T4S, which are over 2 km apart & served by automated trains.) I suggest that you meet up at the main terminal 4, on the arrivals level, in front of the information counter. Your friend can take the automated driverless train between T4 and T4S which runs every two minutes. You can take the free shuttle bus from T1 to T4 running 6:30am-11:30pm every 5 mins; 11:30pm-1:50am every 20 mins; 1:50am-6:30am every 40 mins).samar12posted on Sat, Mar 3

layover time and luggageMar 2, 201210My United flight from Columbus arrives in Houston at 8:10 am on March 4. I fly Continental to Tegucigalpa at 9:20 am. Is this enough time to get my connecting flight? Will my luggage go straight through to Tegucigalpa?hondurasposted on Thu, Mar 11. You arrive at IAH via United in Terminal C; however, Continental is using domestic terminals A,B,C and international terminal E (TE) - which is most likely your departure terminal. (The Airport does not list the gate number). Look at your ticket to see which gate you depart from - gate numbers precede the Terminal (i.e., C14, E12). Gate areas of TC connect to TE by walkway (but you need to go through security check at TE. All terminals are connected by the above-ground TerminaLink inside security, making its continuous round and taking only minutes. Either way, you have enough time for transfer.frmar12posted on Fri, Mar 2
