Hi there, I'm looking at booking an Air Canada flight from Ch'town to Montreal with a 42 minute layovertil my flight to Vancouver, then Seattle. Will the 42 minutes be sufficient in Montreal? Will I need to get my luggage or just go through security? I'm assuming I go through US Immigration in Vancouver? Thank you for help!
No, that layover in Montreal is insufficient. Why don't you just buy a nonstop from Chicago to Seattle? surely that must be cheaper than a wild two stop detour through Canada. It sure will be a hell of a lot easier.
Sorry, should have clarified- Ch'town is an abbreviation we use for Charlottetown, PEI, which is in Canada.
I am travelling ti newyork from gulf,i have a connection flight at chicago airport IOH,connection time is only 1 hour 30 min. Do i need to go thro thugh visa and immigration or i can do it in newark airpot, and will i have enough time ? My hole trip is with american airways
Yes, you will have to go through US Immigration and Customs at your first point of entry to the US. To help you more I need more specifics on your itinerary.
My ticket is a 2 way ticket , am travelling to new york city for the first time with a B2 visa ,my final airport is newark airport but i have a connection at chicago O Hare international airport for 1hour 30 min . My flight to chicagi is AA91 arriving 20:20 and my flight FROM chicago is AA3541 departing 21:55
Yes, in Chicago you will go through US Immigration, claim your bags, go through US Customs, re-check your bags at the re-check desk, then take the ATS Train to Terminal 3, and go through security and to your departure gate. That is a very difficult connection.
Thanks zap for your kind help . One last question : is 90 min enough for my connection ? I have no checked bags only a carry on bag ! And are there a fast track that i can use to go through immegration and visa process faster ?
No checked bags will certainly help, but there are no fast lanes for connecting passengers and there are no fast lanes for people entering the country on a Visa. You have to wait in the agent line.
I am flying from Houston to Mumbai via Munich. The Layover time is 01:50 Hrs. Is that enough to go through Immigration, security and passport control? And my flight from Houston to Munich is UA102 and from Munich to Mumbai its LH764 so Do I need to change the terminals?
Munich only has one terminal and you don't have to go through Immigration or Passport control in Munich. All you have to do is walk from your arrival gate to your departure gate. You have plenty of time.
I'm flying from POS to LHR and I have layover at MIA for 7hr 18min. Is that enough time to go through US Immigraiton, claim my bags, go through US Customs, go through security and to my departure gate? American Airlines for both legs of the trip.
I have 1h35 connection time in Newark coming from Brussels and going to Orlanda. It indicates we need to change terminals (but I can't find between which terminals). Do I have enough time to change between the terminals. We will be 4 (2 adults and 2 kids of 7 and 5 years ols).
That is barely enough time if everything goes perfectly. You will have to go through US Immigraiton, claim your bags, go through US Customs, take the AirTrain to Terminal C, go through security and to your departure gate.
I'm picking my mom up from the airport in a week and she is not familiar with airports or flying. Can I go through security without having a ticket to meet her at the terminal so I can help her find her way?
No, you can't. You have to meet her at the exit of security.
Hello I am flying from SFO to New Delhi on November with Asiana Airlines and the flight has a short connection at ICN (Seoul Airport) for 1 hour and 25 minutes. Considering this is a short connection will it be enough time for me to catch my next flight to Delhi? I am Also flying Asiana from ICN to Delhi. In addition do I have to go through security again? Please advise.
I will be flying back home to CLT, but I don't know how early I should be at the airport. This is at the End of December. I haven't booked yet. It may be a 7:00am flight with a stop through Nashville or a nonstop 1:30pm flight from DAL on SOuthwest. I need to know.
If you're flying from DFW on American in the morning during holiday season an don't have Precheck I suggest arriving at least 2 hours before your flight, so that means if you're on a 7 AM flight, getting to the airport at about 5.
I have to go through customs and stuff in NAP right? How long would that take at 6:20pm? I am also flying economy. I need to know so I can purchase the correct train ticket. Would I do Customs in LHR or NAP? I am flying from CLT-MCO-MCO -LGW-LGW-NAP. CLT - MCO is on a different ticket then MCO-NAP.. MCO - NAP IS ALL ON ONE TICKET.
Yes, if MCO-LGW-NAP is all on the same reservation you should just have to go through Immigration and Customs in Naples.
