I'm flying from Kingston, Jamaica to Miami. I'll get to Miami airport at 2:45pm. Then I have to catch a TAP flight to Portugal at 4:40pm. What is the best way to manage this situation ? Will it be possible ?

With checked bags that is impossible. Without checked bags that might be barely possible if your flight from Kingston is early, you are a US Citizen and you are already checked in for your TAP flight.

We are travelling from Ottawa,Canada and have an 1and half layover in IAD, then LA and final destination is Melbourne Australia. My concern is that will I have enough time to go through security at IAD then catch my flight to LA? Its my first time flying through the US.

You will pre-clear US Immigration and Customs in ottawa. You do not have to go through security at IAD. You just have to go from your arrival gate to your departure gate.

Will I have to re check my bags? Is it all on one reservation?

You tell me - is it all on one reservation? Where are you flying from and to? On what airline?

I haven't booked it yet. Yes it will be one reservation, & I don't know which airline yet. I'm still researching.

If you book everything on one reservation then you don't have to claim your bags unless you are arriving in the US from an International flight. In that case you have to claim your bags at your point of entry in order to go through US Customs and then immediately re-check them.

    Thanks. It's all domestic!

Hi, I will be flying in from LAS to Oakland international airport at 1135am. How long will i take to clear customs? Thanks!

There is no US Customs when traveling on domestic flights.

Even for international tourist, there is no US custom for domestic flight right?

That is correct. You just go through security at your origin like every other traveler.

  • Which City Is Better to Layover in To go to Seattle in December?

I have 2 options. CLT - MDW - SEA on Southwest or CLT - DEN - SEA on United. Which one is better? I'm flying from CLT & on December 25th or 26th. Please let me know thanks!

Denver generally has better winter weather and can handle winter storms better than MDW.

I'm flying From SEA - CLT probably on First Class on December 30th or 31st. I have lots of options.: CHS, RDU, SMF & LAS with a terminal change, ORD, and DFW. Please let me know thanks! It's on Alaska & American. I'm using miles as well.

CHS would be easy, but there's only the single SEA-CHS flight per day. DFW is a big airport but is pretty easy and generally has good weather in the winter. SMF would also be pretty easy, but again, only one SMF-CLT flight per day.

What about Las Vegas? Thanks! That helps a lot.

The connection in Vegas between two different terminals would suck.

I have 5 airports that I can fly into. I don't know which one is the best. I'm going to Anaheim, CA. SNA which is the closest, LAX, BUR, ONT, & SAN. I'm flying from Charlotte, NC. please let me know thanks!

Compare the fares at SNA and LAX. The advantage of LAX is that you can also fly nonstop from Charlotte. LAX is less than an hour to Anaheim in most traffic. Don't bother with BUR, ONT, or SAN, they're all pretty far from Anaheim.

i have a flight from lima-Peru to calgary. however i have a connection flight in Houston for 2 h . would this be enough time to go through security checking , picking luggage and all? thanks in advance.

You will have to go through US Immigration, Customs, and Security. You should not have to claim and re-check your bags. You should have just enough time.

Do the exit row seats on American Recline and have more leg room? Do last row seats of the plane have more leg room? Which seats do you think are most comfortable? (Excluding First Class)

I don't know if this will help or not but AA600 CLT-PHX & AA694 PHX- HNL to find out.

On Seatguru.com you can put in your exact flights and see information on specific seats.

  • Flying in from Costa Rica and find my connecting flight to Calgary
    May 24, 2016

I am flying into Houston Airport from San Jose Costa Rica and need to find my connecting flight to Calgary in 90 minutes. My checked baggage is going straight to Calgary so i don't need to pick it up. Can anyone help me out as to how i navigate my way through the Houston airport to find my flight to Calgary. Where i need to go and how to get there? I understand I won't get my departing gate # to Calgary till I have cleared all necessary areas.

You will go through US Immigration, Customs, and Security. Since your bags are checked through you can use Onestop immigration and security. If your flight to Calgary is operated by United it will depart from Terminal B or C and if it is operated by Air Canada it will depart from Terminal A.

  • TSA wait times at Midway Chicago

Can anyone update me as to if the TSA waits are as long as they have been in the past few weeks at Midway in Chicago?

It really depends on the time of day. I recommend arriving 2 hours before your flight. The Lines look very long at MDW since there is nowhere to queue the line up - it just backs up into the bridge and then into the lobby.

Do I have to collect my checked bags for customs???? My flight Houston to Denver is on a different concourse. I'm afraid I won't make my connection to Denver.

Yes, you will have to go through US Immigration, claim your bags, go through US Immigration, claim your bags, go through security, and to your departure gate. That's not realistically enough time for your connection.

I didn't think so. How long does it take to go from Customs, thru security and to Concourse C?

Security is the big issue. It really depends on the time of day. That part alone can take over an hour.

    Evening ... 5:00

Try using one Skin Care product line only. These products have been manufactured in such a way that they help enhance the potency of each other. They would work better in treating and healing your skin. http://www.fitwaypoint.com/inherent-beauty-serum/

I'm traveling from Vilnius to Bruxelles via Frankfurt. I will change a plane in FRA. Do I need to do check in and go through security check in Frankfurt?

Both flights are in the Schengen Area. All you have to do in Frankfurt is go from your arrival gate to your departure gate.
